It was a few minutes before midnight and Draco Malfoy sat in his room reading The Quibbler. It's been years since the war but the Daily Prophet is still as inaccurate as it was back then. He was reading the section by Luna Scamander about wrackspurts. It was actually proven that those creatures exist and wrackspurts were put in the Magical Creatures of the Wizarding World list. Draco shook his head in amazement, he never did take her seriously. He was wrong not to.

He heard a soft knock on his bedroom door. It was his son Scorpius, he looked worried. "Hey Dad, do you have a minute?" he quietly asked.

Draco nodded, suddenly concerned. "Is something wrong?" he asked. Scorpius sat down beside his bedside table. Scorpius was almost a splitting image of his father with the same blonde hair and fair complexion. His eyes though were a deep clue whereas Draco's were grey. Scorpius was in his sixth year now and thank Merlin he wasn't anything like Draco was at his age.

"Well, there's this girl," Scorpius said looking at his father uncertainly.

Draco smiled, girl problems was it? Scorpius never came asking for girl advice before. He must be serious about her.

"Is she pretty?" Draco asked.

Scorpius slightly blushed, "Very."

"Do you fancy her?"

Scorpius nodded, his cheeks turning into a deeper shade of red.

"Does she not like you?"

"No, she does…I think," he mumbled, "But it's not that."

"What seems to be the problem then?" Draco asked.

"The girl is Rose Weasley," Scorpius slowly replied, breaking eye contact for the first time. Oh, so that's what it was. Draco had suspected as much seeing the way he looked so guilty.

Draco sighed and put down his newspaper. "Why's that a problem?"

Scorpius' head snapped back up, "You mean, you don't mind? Her being Ron and Hermione Weasley's daughter and all?"

"I don't have anything against them, Scorp. What happened in the past is gone, alright?"

Scorpius gave a huge grin that completely transformed his face and lit up his eyes. "Really? So, you're giving me permission to go woo her? Or you know, something like that?"

Draco gave a small chuckle and shook his head. "Yes, Scorp, go woo your girl."

Scorpius just about shot out of the bed and gave his father a side hug. He opened the door and was about to walk out when Draco stopped him, "And Scorp," he called. Scorpius gave his father a questioning glance, "I'd be careful if I were you. If the girl's anything like her mother, she'll have quite a temper."

"I know, she does," Scorpius said, "Thanks Dad." He left.

Draco lay back in his bed. At-least he has a chance of being related to Hermione somehow, though not in a way he had first imagined. He smiled at that thought and fell asleep.
