As much as he hates to admit it, Eridan Ampora is crying.

They are quiet sobs that seem to rock his very figure, and they stir for a ridiculous reason.

He was rejected.

His problem resides in a hopeless idea of flushed leanings towards the very same girl who had decided they would no longer be moirails. The nickname 'Fef' bounces off the walls of his mind, and it only makes him cry harder. How would he ever persuade her to partake in matespritship if one could barely pacify the other?

He wipes his eyes. He's exaggerating, he shouldn't react like this to words, meaningless words written by a ghost on-screen. "This is fuckin' ridiculous," Eridan says to himself, and he is completely right.

And in one simple moment, Eridan Ampora is smiling.

It's a play of exaggerated emotional theatrics, ones that seem to shape his very sick, twisted mind, and it exists for a ridiculous reason.

He was rejected.
