Diablo is one of the coolest games ever made and there little monsters and mini-bosses make it great! But some bastards like revenge...
He awoke from the cold floor on which he lay. The tiles were black marble and the walls of the cold hall were the same, both were tainted with blood. On one side of the hall was covered in blood so thick that He could barely see the marbles surface. At the end of the hallway was a door, a big, black, wooden door. The light from which it gave through it's cracks was the only light in the room. He stood up and His right was overcome by a fit of pain while it hung limp by his side. His left leg seemed to be dislocated at the joint of His thigh and his hip. In His left hand he held a broadsword, the tip touching the ground from the height at which he stood. Dragging His leg across the floor and leting His arm dangle by his side He headed toward the door. He heard some sounds on the other side that sounded like a demonic scream. A sound that shook the hall as if a bomb had hit it rang out from behind Him. He turned around sharply and saw a small, blue creature laying where He was once before. It twitched and His breath caught in His throat as He felt something, something in His stomach that felt familiar. He looked down at His right arm and screamed, but a scream didn't come out. It came out as a roar that woke the creature that lay four feet in front of Him. His body wasn't a body at all, it was , in fact, a collection of bones. He was a Skeleton.
The little creature was standing up and it held a spear with both of it's hands, poised and ready to strike. The thing lunged at Him and gave a grunt of effort which struck something in His mind that caused a hatred from an unkown area of his mind. It obviously hadn't recovered from wherever it came from because the spear loosened as it lunged and He jumped out of it's way with an ease that was unkown to him. He couldn't do that before. The spear embedded itself in the wall next to his head, cracking the marble from top to bottom in a lightning-shaped arc. The thing started to pant and He walked over to it, kneeling next to it's hunched body. A pang of pity struck through his bones as he saw the hollow eyes of the creature. It quickly latched onto his head and started to struggle and twist in an attempt to break His neck. He grabbed it behind the neck and threw it against the wall, cracking it's head open and letting it's brain add an addition to the blood-stained wall on which it's now-dead body rested. Anger was now running through His bones as his broadsword cut up the thing into two pieces. It was slahed and cut again and agian and again until He was panting. The door creaked and a red light assaulted his face. He looked out and saw fire leaping from side to side and an array of monsters and demons charging over the bright-orange stones and entering a much larger area through a large arc. They were streaming out of wooden doors much like the one in which He stood now. Another thing charged out of the door and another, but these ones didn't seem to notice him. Then he felt another emotion, fear! He was in Hell!
