There she was. But where was there? There was a sharp pain in her head. She couldn't see anything, but she could move. Where did she go? She couldn't tell. It was dead silent, but not in a horrifying way. She stood up. She moved forward. Forward where? She closed her eyes. It was still dark. She opened her eyes, and in a flash of light, she was falling. It was still dark, but the moon was out. She spread the wings she didn't know she had. Hair whipping around her, wind practically forcing her eyes shut. Her wings slowed her descent but not by much. She closed her eyes, and splashed into water. She opened them again, and the galaxy surrounded her in a blanket of stars. She breathed in.

She laid in short, grass. She was in the middle of a field, and it was midnight. The moon took up nearly a quarter of the sky, so it was very bright. The stars also shone brightly. She held herself up with her arms. She was a furry wolf, a light periwinkle color, with white fur around her belly, neck, and part of her face. She leaned forward, and put her hands... paws... whatever, in her lap. She didn't, couldn't know what to do. Here she was. Finally able to grasp her surroundings. A field. But instead of green grass, it was anything but. Around her, on the border of all sides of the field were tall trees. A kind she had never seen before. They were crowned with flowers. A luscious looking fruit grew off of the tree, and she suddenly wanted it. It looked as if it could be sweet beyond words. She felt some long fur come behind her as hair. Hot pink, sky blue, and lavender. The color of the long, vibrant hair she felt.

A regal looking lion strode out of the forest in front of her, head held high. He seemed huge. His golden mane flowed off of his head like a river. It shone and sparkled brighter than the stars in the sky. The lion approached the wolf. He looked down at her with authority. His voice boomed like thunder and cracked like lighting. "You do not belong here." He seemed to know more than she did, so she nodded her head in agreement. "Stand up." She stood up. "You do not know who you are." She nodded her head again. "You cannot get back." His size was rather frightening, but she was not scared. The lion looked at her with kindness. "Follow me."

The lion began to walk towards the forest. The wolf, on hind legs, followed along. The lion began to speak. "You come at the creation of a new world. I know where you come from. You were separated, torn apart from who you originally were. Along with someone else, but he is somewhere else. You will both grow from who you originally were, but you will grow more similarly to your original self." "Excuse me, sir," the wolf finally piped up. "Who is he?" "You will come to know him in time. All will eventually be revealed to you." "What is my name?" The wolf took much liberty when asking the Great Lion, unlike most people. "Your name is Spirit." "Spirit," She repeated. "I like that name." "Very well then." The lion responded. "What is your name?" "You shall come to know me by many names." The Great Lion said. "Oh," Spirit said. "Now, go and be among the creatures of this world. Some may seem familiar, nut most will not. We will undoubtedly meet again." "What do I do?" Spirit questioned. "Explore.
