A.N. This is just a really quick author's note ('cause I know how annoying they are) to say that this is my first fanfiction or drabble, so please review, it would mean the world! Constructive criticism is welcome and I hope you enjoy reading it! ~tigerlily
Diana's first day
The sleek, shining black Mercedes rolled out of the cobbled mansion's drive way. The tinted window slid down, as a perfectly manicured hand reached out to blow a sarcastic kiss to the parents that were not watching. A new life was ready to begin for the young eleven year old inside the car.
Three and a half hours later, the car rumbled to a halt outside and sharp, grey building. It was large enough to be a hotel. She supposed, in a way it was one. One for the rich and wicked troubled teens and kids of America. The door swung open and a gracious black pump dotted with diamonds crunched on the pavements stones.
Heads turned and quickly enough, two dozen eyes sprung to life as the girl made her exit out of the car in a wind of grandiose. Diana Ladris had arrived.
Her shoes echoed as the ascended the stone steps to the thick, deep mahogany doors to the building. She saw the boys gaze following her as she swept past him and his shaggy haired friend. The temptation to look into his dark unknown eyes was murderous. But resisting and giving him no satisfaction was even better. He looked dark, mysterious, and dangerous. She wanted him. His rich, deep brown hair rustled with the slight autumn breeze, as she saw him inhale her perfume.
Jumping down from his perch on the stone block, the boy pushed the heavy doors open easily for Diana. Glancing in his direction, barely giving him acknowledgement of his presence and effect on her. Diana swanned in, lightly tipping his shoulder with her own, like a feathers touch on the fingertip. It sent shockwaves through him.
Continuing her path towards the office on the right, his footsteps were heard behind her. Quickly, without warning, Diana spun on the heel of her perfect pumps. Colour drained his face as he went expressionless, like a deer in the headlights.
"Can I help you?" the words flowed with sarcasm from her cherry red lips.
"W-w-well… I uhm.." he was left speechless. He cleared his throat, regaining confidence, and ego.
"I was going to say your welcome, for me holding open the door" he spoke clearly, confidence emanating from his tongue.
"I just assumed you were the door man. Would you like a tip?"
"I'm Caine. Caine Soren."
"Diana Ladris."
Their hands shook before Diana removed her hand, slyly wiping it on her jacket.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Diana" Caine said, completely infatuated with her.
"I wish I could say the same, Soren." she quickly replied, turning and sweeping into the office, to the receptionist to discuss her room and schedule.
Caine stood, breathless yet again. She was beyond words describing her. Not stunning, not even perfect. But she would be his. He knew it.
