I am so happy that I was finally able to put something together, as it feels like it's been far too long. Although it's not anything special, I hope you guys enjoy this. Leave a review to let me know what you think. :)

"Nick, we can't keep doing this." Monroe took a drink of the water in his hand, holding back the sigh that attempted to escape from his lungs.

Nick was facing the island in the center of the kitchen, his hands gripping tight at the edges. He hadn't even had a chance to take his jacket off when he walked in the door, before Monroe had gotten right into a discussion, wanting to get something off of his chest.

"It's not that I don't want this, because I do, you know that, but...it just isn't fair to Juliette, man."

"I understand that this isn't the right way to go about things, but Monroe...I just don't know how to tell her." Nick let out a sigh, running his fingers through his tangled black hair.

"I'm sure you're not the only guy who doesn't know how to break up with someone, breakups aren't always easy."

"Yeah, but not every guy has been seeing someone else while trying to repair his relationship with a long term girlfriend," Nick pointed out.

"She doesn't have to know about us," Monroe offered with a shrug of his shoulders.

"I don't want to ruin things with her. I mean, yeah, I'm breaking up with her, but I still want us to be good friends." Nick strode over to the sink, filling an empty glass with cold water before taking a sip.

"Nick, just talk to her, I'm sure she'll understand as long as you're honest."

"Hey, Juliette, even though things have been going great with us, I'm gonna have to break up with you. Why? Well because I've been sleeping with our good mutual friend Monroe, so I thought I'd call it off with you so that Monroe and I won't have to hide our relationship anymore." Nick gave Monroe a mocking smile, nudging the taller man's shoulder.

"Okay, so maybe not completely honest, but if that's how you want to tell her, go ahead." Monroe smiled, drinking down the last bit of water in his glass.

"Monroe, what am I going to do?" Nick had gotten a serious look on his face, his shoulders loosening up.

"I'm going to tell you exactly what you don't want to hear and say that you need to do what you think is right. If you want to call it all of with Juliette, that's fine, I'll even help you decide what to say if you want me to. But if you want to stay with her for now, that's also fine. You can continue to live here with me, but I can't have this relationship with you while you're still seeing her."

"Why can't she just break up with me?" Nick questioned, only halfway serious.

"Oh, you're far too great for her to ever want to do that." Monroe placed his empty glass on the counter, moving closer to his companion.

Nick grabbed onto Monroe's arm, pulling the taller man in close before placing a light kiss on his lips.

"If only you had accused me of kidnapping a little girl much sooner, we could have been doing this before you even met Juliette," Monroe muttered, his breath ghosting over the skin of Nick's neck.

"Oh yes, if only." Nick turned around in Monroe's grip, pulling him into a deep kiss.

"Now," Monroe started, panting a little from the kiss, "what do you say we go upstairs? I'll give you a good reason to break up with her."
