So I'm sitting here, drinking my Caramel Bru-something-rather latte, just having got home from work, still in my beanie and oversized, very warm sweater, that kept me warm in the first 'actual' snowfall that looks oh-so-pretty outside and I'm feeling rather blissful.
Winter makes me happy. Not simply because of Christmas (though it doesn't hurt). The snow covering the ground, houses, and branches of trees, the cooler (sometimes damn-right freezing) temperatures; the peacefulness of a light snowfall at night, with the slightest pink tint to the evening sky. Even when the snow blows and the wind bites at your skin. It reminds me of snowdays, making massive amounts of 'sketti' while watching a Series of Unfortunate Events. Then playing Kingdom Hearts into the night.
I digress.
I attempted it for Halloween, but was unsuccessful. So if I couldn't do it for my favorite holiday, what hope do I have in succeeding at any other time? Good question. But writers don't usually claim to be sane. Thus, I'm back for round two.
Which is what, you may ask?
31 Days. 31 Christmas-themed FanFics.
I hope you enjoy.
