She looked out of the window and silently watched the beautiful landscape pass by. The green hills framed the bright blue sky and occasionally some small villages interrupted the peaceful nature. A soft snore to her left interrupted her thoughts and smiling she turned her head and a mop of messy brown hair came into her vision. Carefully she lifted her hand and brushed some strands back. Despite her efforts her partner stirred and blinked irritated against the bright light. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up." She apologized, the small smile still gracing her features. He mumbled something incoherent and snuggled closer against her, which made her smile even wider but then she whipped her head down, knocking her husband's off her shoulder. "What happened? Is something wrong? Zee, tell me what happened? Are you ok?" His panicked voice pushed her out of the momentary stupor and silently she shook her head. She couldn't believe it. It made everything so much realer. "Ziva tell me what happened?" Tony demanded and she opened her mouth to respond when it happened again. Eyes big as saucers she looked down to her big stomach and gasped. "She just... moved." She whispered incredulously. His eyes widened almost comically which made her chuckle a little bit. "But I can't feel her." He pouted slightly obviously feeling put out. "Looks like she likes me better." She grinned but then explained to her husband that it was because the movement was too weak to be felt from the outside. He seemed content with her answer and nuzzled against her neck. "It might be true that she likes you more right now but be assured: Once she decides to grace us with her presence, I will spoil her so much that she has no other choice than to like me more than you." He whispered jokingly in her ear before he rested his head once again against her shoulder and fell asleep. For the rest of the train ride his hand rested protectively on her belly.
