"C'mon, hurry!"
"Dino, slow down please!"
Kyoko huffed and puffed as her boyfriend dragged her along, refusing to relent as he dashed to the nearest convenience store. Her face was red, not only from the effort of running. Luckily, the streets weren't too crowded today, but that hadn't of stopped her blond boyfriend from bumping into several people along the way, leaving Kyoko to give hurried apologies as she was dragged. The crisp fall air was relieving-at least it wasn't searing out. She hurried alongside Dino, although she crashed into his back as he stopped suddenly, causing him to lurch forward.
"Sorry…" She apologized hastily, and Dino only grinned in reply. He wasn't one to get aggravated or offended easily. Which was one of the reasons that Ryohei approved of him so easily.
"Nah, it's fine. Let's go." He hummed, his steps still antsy as he entered the store. There was almost no one inside, aside from the various workers who were mulling around. No one wanted to work on a Sunday, so Kyoko really couldn't blame them. She wouldn't want to be stuck at work on an off day either. The store was fairly organized, and they passed by card stands and cigarettes before they arrived at their destination. "Let's see… Where could they be?" Dino intently browsed, leaving Kyoko bright red in the face. "Aah, why so flustered?" He teased her in a carefree manner, causing her to splutter defenses out at him.
"You very well know why!" Her hasty defense earned a chuckle from him, and he went back to browsing. "I can't believe that you didn't have any." She ran one hand through her smooth locks, more weakly exasperated than anything else. Dino frowned, continuing to search for what they needed.
"Not my fault." The blond protested. "We weren't even supposed to have a date today." He told her. Kyoko rolled her eyes at his forgetfulness.
"Yes, we were! We made plans last week." She admonished him more severely this time, not taking fondly to his statement. He looked dejected, like a kicked puppy. "Don't give me those eyes." She protested weakly. "..." He continued to beg for her forgiveness by giving her a pouty expression. She gave an exasperated sigh. "I forgive you. Now hurry up and find them!" She had been scanning the area with her eyes as well. She would have moved away to search, if only he had let go of her hand. But she appreciated and treasured his affectionate gestures. Dino stopped moving suddenly, causing her to bump into him. Apparently he had located them.
...Except, they were stuck behind a locked, glass case.
"Who keeps condoms behind a glass case?" Dino frowned in a puzzled manner. Kyoko turned red in the face. They would have to ask an employee to unlock the case. Inwardly, she groaned, but leaned up against Dino, even more flustered than before. Dino, on the other hand, didn't seem to puzzled. Which was very much like him. His lax attitude didn't change, even in this situation. So she would hide behind him for the duration of the conversation.
Just another casual misadventure that the two had.
