"Okay and you see that group right up there." James asked pointing toward the stars,

"Yes Daddy" The little red hair girl said, "What is it?"

"That's the Big Dipper; the bright star is called the North Star. It helps leads sailors and slaves. Lib, are you awake?"

"Yes Daddy." She said, thought clearly very sleepy, "Daddy tell me about your slave friend."

"Now Lib, we told you. Moses isn't a slave anymore."

"Sorry Daddy, Daddy will we get to see Moses again soon?"

"Soon, we'll go see him in the fall for the Harvest Festival." The girl's eyelids started dropping over her clear blue eyes,

"Daddy, do you think I could ever walk on the moon?" James laughed,

"I think you can do anything you want." He ran his fingers through her soft hair, "Anything you want sweetie" A high, slightly accented voice rang through the night,

"James, Liberty!"

"It's Mommy!" Liberty said, "Quick hide!" She covered her head with the blanket she was sharing with her father. James laughed and covered his too. Sarah walked over to the large window in the front of the store. She saw the lumpy blanket and laughed,

"James, Liberty, honestly where are you two?" Liberty giggled and then 'shh'ed herself loudly, "Oh well, maybe they went on a journey. It's too bad; this apple pie won't finish itself." She turned to walk back inside. Liberty leapt up,

"Mommy no we're right here!" She ran up to her mother and hugged her tightly around the legs,

"Oh, so you're coming out for food? James, I think she's spent too much time with Henri." James laughed and picked her up,

"Should we go inside then?" Liberty nodded and rested her head on her daddy's shoulder. Sarah headed back to the kitchen for the pie. By the time she came back with it, Liberty was fast asleep with no hopes of waking up. James took her upstairs and Sarah sat down at the fire to continue reading the book she's started. James came back downstairs and leaned up against the back of Sarah's chair,

"She's already five years old." He said quietly. Sarah nodded,

"And getting older every day" She sighed, leaning back, "But soon she'll have a new friend." Sarah reminded James while unconsciously rubbing her stomach, "When should we tell her?"

"Soon, if we don't she'll figure it out all on her own." Sarah laughed and stood up, "I'm going up to bed."

"I'll be up in a minute." Sarah nodded heading upstairs. James walked over to his desk to blow out the candle. He looked over at the picture of Benjamin Franklin. It had been 7 months since Ben died, and still it hurt every time he saw the picture. James sat down for a moment and looked at him,

"You know I never got a chance to thank you, at least a proper one. A beautiful loving wife, a wonderful spunky daughter, and now another little child on the way, well I never could have gotten here without you." James glanced over his shoulder and, after confirming he was alone, turned back and whispered, "I haven't asked Sarah about this, but if we have a boy I want to name him after you. And well, thank you again Dr. Franklin." James smiled and blew out the candle, then headed upstairs with his wife.
