The castle made of ice was empty save for a lone figure. Elsa sat on her ice throne, thinking about the days that had just passed. I wonder how Anna is doing. She thought to herself. I hope she hasn't married that one guy. After all, how do you marry someone after just a day? She got up and walked to the door. She enjoyed being all alone in her own little palace. After all, she couldn't hurt her sister. Not again.

After all, that was what kept her from trying to control her magic while at home; the fear that, no matter how slim the chances were, she'd hurt her little sister again. There were the occasional times when Anna was out with their parents when she would try to make icicles on her ceiling or make her floor covered in ice, but those were very rare occasions.

And then, those moments became non-existent when their parents died. Anna just lurked the halls, much like how Elsa herself lurked her own castle right now. She was walking towards the foyer with no real meaning behind her footsteps. Anna, I hope you don't come for me. You're safe now. I can't hurt you any longer.

She turned back around and walked back upstairs. Her sister would totally be fine. Arendelle was a nice place that would be fit for her rule when she came of age. Elsa smiled as she walked out onto balcony. Yes, she liked this. The quiet, the cold, the freedom. Free from the worry of hurting her sister. Free from the fear that someone would find her secret. Free from hearing her sister stand outside of her room, causing her pain every time she had to keep quiet.

A tear escaped her eye and froze on her cheek. She brushed it away. No, this is my home, and I'm never going to leave. No matter what happens.
