Story Time
-flinches- please don't kill me!
I'm typing TFGTE chapter as fast as I can, but writing about the same thing all the time isn't all that fun!
Anyways, this is based on a French lesson I had recently. I know Bella, Alice and Jasper aren't in the same class, but for this, they are!
Thankyou saoirse, for reading it before I submitted it! What would I do without you??
And now for a little rant (if you wish, you can also join in!): Hokay! The MR forums have been down for hages!!!!! I'm on the verge of not updating my MR fanfics until the forums are back up and running so all of the forum readers can be at the same pace as on here, cuz otherwise it's totally not fair! And I know I keep asking MRACR about it (if you're reading this rant, then I am REALLY sorry), but – come on! This is insane! Why is it taking so long!?!
Stupid thing.
Hokay, rant over!
Disclaimer: I don't own anything except the gum I am chewing, and the pen I am writing with. Sorry.
The plot is Fate's, too. (Or Time's, at least...)
Bella's POV
Ugh. Spanish. Class population: 8. Only 2 of those 8 being female. Unless you counted Miss Harper, but I don't think anyone was sure of her sex.
Jasper and Alice were in my class, so it was bearable.
Or so I thought.
Anyway, today we were preparing for our oral test – many sniggers from the boys whenever 'oral' was mentioned. Immature idiots.
"Now." Miss Harper stopped us, twenty minutes before the bell, "I have just thought of something interesting and fun to do!" She clapped her hands together.
"Oh no." Alice, next to me, muttered.
"What? What is it?" I asked, thinking she had seen something life-threatening – for me, anyway.
"If you would all like to move a little closer to the front," – Alice glanced over at Jasper and groaned, sinking down into her chair, "then I'll read you a story." Harper smiled sweetly as she held up a big, bright red children's book. Entitled 'MeMe Goes To The Park'.
Oh.
Immediately, all the boys had gathered around the teachers desk. Jasper right at the front, sat, cross-legged on the floor.
Miss Harper looked at Alice and I expectedly, "Well, girls? Aren't you going to join us?"
In unison, the six boys turned their heads to look at us.
Creepy.
"N-no thankyou, Miss Harper. We can both hear fine from here." I said. 'Here' meaning 'very-back-of-the-room-in-the-far-corner'.
Together, the boys all pouted like four-year-olds, then looked up lovingly to their teacher.
Way creepy.
Alice and I looked at each other, we shared the same, scared expression.
Miss Harper gave an exasperated sigh, "Well, then. As long as you're sure." The boys copied her.
We both nodded, eyes wide.
"Then we will begin!" She turned and started reading to the already enraptured 17-year-olds.
What's happening to all of them?...Jasper?!
I wrote on a piece of paper, and slid it to Alice.
"It's Jasper. No-one knows why, but he always acts like a kid when ever someone reads him a story. I guess he affected all of the other guys, too." She whispered.
I looked over to the group. They were all sat on the floor, and – oh dear, was Jasper sucking his thumb?!?
I guess everything mom told me about reading too much was bad, was true.
Who would have believed it?
Hokay. Fin.
The ending was random...
Whaddaya think??
If you press that liiiiiiiitle purple 'Go' button, you can tell me! Go on! You know you waaaaaaaant to!
