David never gave much though about his boring life, but maybe if he had, he would have been better prepaird to face the ocean of carnage that lay ahead of him.
"My god! Could this bus go any slower," thought David as he looked out the window. His friend Matt was absent today so he was sitting by himself, trying to ignore the other kids in the four back seats. "Huh, they think they're sooo cool," thought David. "Yo, check me out y'all, I'm somkeing stogies on the buss, represent!!" "F*%ing idoits," mutterd David to himself. "Who?" David startled at the sudden outburst. "Ha,ha. You fail!" said Vicky Morgan. She was once David's childhood friend, but was now a pretty and popular cheerleader. "Oh, its just you, Sticky," said David with sigh of relief. "I told you to stop calling me that!!" excalmed Vicky. "You didn't mind it before." "Yeah, when we were six! Do you have any idea, how long it took me to shake off 'Sticky Organ'?" " I started that!"Thought Daivd with a smile. "Whats so funny, huh." Said Vicky intently. "Oh ,uhh… those kids in the back. They're picking up a habit thats gross and self defeting." "Yeah, six bucks a day to give your self cancer," Said Vicky. "Well, I'm just glad their stop is up next. Then I won't have to listen to it," said David, glanceing at the guys in the back. They were $$holes, two of them were in Davids homeroom and classes. They would talk and disrupt class almost every day, keeping him from actualy learning something. Oh how he dramed of using his cair to beat them to a pulp in the middle of class, but he was the peacful type.
The buss stoped at a gated communtiy entrence and opend its door. The six guys in the back got up an stared twoard the door. As they passed David and Vicky they could hear part their coversation. "Yo, so meet me at my house at nine, I'm gunna steal liqure form my dad, we can get smashed and walk around!" With that they were gone, walking up the hill of the gated community. David and Vicky looked at eachother and laughed, the buss driver closed the door and drove on. Vickies stop was next and then his. "So… Halloweens coming up, what are you going as?" Asked David, to break the aquward silance. "A cheerleader!" Stated Vicky excitedly. "Should have seen that one coming," thought David. "What are youdoing for halloween?" Asked Vicky. "Oh, I'm just gunna stay home and watch a movie," said David. "That's boring," exclamed Vicky. "You should come to my party!" "With all the popular jack offs? Thanks but no thanks!" "They won't bother you if your with me," said Vicky. "What do you mean with you?" Asked David. "Oh, nothing. Any way, this is my stop, see ya." She turned and walked tword the door. She stoped on the stairs and turned to him, "Please, think about coming to my party." And walked down her driveway. The buss driver chuckled and closed the door.
After what seemed a hour, davids driveway was comeing into view. It was a paved road with woods on both sides leading to a ten room house. He heaved a boring, hum drum Conneticut private schooll life seemed to make time pass at an agoniseing crawl. It wasn't that he had anything to complane about , he knew that; he loved his mother and father, he got decent grades, and was semi popular at school.
