Author's Note:Hey, so, My two favorite Characters are Clare and Becky. I don't like how Becky is sometimes judgemental, but I think she's grown a lot, and I love her and Adam together. So, I'm making a one shot for them! This is just, like, how I think their first date should go.

Becky's POV:

As I was brushing my hair, I heard the ringtone of my phone, and picked it up quickly, hoping it was Adam.

"Hey Becks,"I could practically hear his smirk as he called me that name.

"My name is Becky, and you know it,"I giggled. What was this boy doing to me?

"Yeah, yeah. So, I just realized that we need to go on our first date."

My mouth dropped slightly, and it took all the strength I had not to sqeal with delight.

"Great, that sounds...great. Um, when were you thinking?"

"Well, I just so happened to get tickets to go to the fair Friday. AKA, Tomorrow."

Aw, he knew I loved the fair. How sweet was he?

"Alright, um. Pick me up at 7 tomorrow,"I told him, feeling like I was in heaven. Not the dead part though. Just the happy part.

"Great, see ya then."

"Bye."

I fell back on my bed, a huge grin on my face. Who cares if my parents don't approve of us? Adam and I liked each other, and that was all that mattered.

"Ding Dong,"the doorbell rang, and I raced to slip my jacket on, and ran to the door before my dad could.

"Sweetie, where are you goin?"Dad asks, sighing.

"Out, I say, and open the door, to reveal Adam in a white collar shirt and black jeans. He was the most handsome boy I'd ever seen."

I headed out the door, but my dad grabbed my arm.

"Becky, we need to talk about this,"Dad instructed, but for once, I pulled away, so desperate to do what I wanted for once.

"Dad, I've tried talking about this with you. But you won't listen."

And with that, I slammed the door, and Adam linked our arms.

"Ready, Becks?" I felt my cheeks tint as I said,

"Of course." And he interlaced our fingers.

"Aw, Adam, it's so cute!"I giggled as he picked out a green stuffed bear he won for me.

"Like you,"he replied, pecking my lips sweetly. I smiled, then pullled him over to the basketball game.

"Come on, slowpoke!"

He grinned, but I could tell something was wrong.

"What's the matter?"I questioned him quickly because I was so worried.

"I'm not...very. You know, good at basketbal."

I tried to keep a serious face for a minute, but I burst out in laughter. He was worried about THAT?

"I knew it," he muttered, and started walking away.

I grabbed his shoulder, turned him back around, and kissed him. And it wasn't just a peck either.

"Adam,"I started breathlessly as we pulled away,"I was only laughing because I don't mind. There's nothing wrong with that, and it's fine if you don't want to play. Just watch me," he smiled as I picked up the ball, missing the first time. I just shrugged it off, picking up another. I made it that time, so I got to pick out a prize. I saw the cutest little stuffed turtle, picked it,and handed it to Adam. "For you,"I smile. He loves turtles. He looks at me, smirking and shaking his head.

"What?" I ask frighfully.

"You are something else, Becky Baker."

And with that, he leaned in, pressing our lips together.
