Ginny Weasley is young.
Young children often act strange,
Percy Weasley will tell himself.
Maybe that's why she flinches
at sudden movements and noises
and disappears for long amounts of time.
Why should he bother Mother and Father
about this?
It's just a phase.
Ginny Weasley is pale.
But the sun doesn't see her much
and all of them are naturally white.
It's probably just this but it's not just this;
she has bags under her eyes
and seems rather melancholic.
So one day he decides he should ask, just to be sure-
she looks at him strangely and says
''I'm just tired''.
Ginny Weasley is fine.
The reason she looks sick is the spare of colds,
the reason her eyes are weary is her schoolwork.
Percy gives her Pepperup Potion,
offers to tutor her;
everything to help his little sister.
She doesn't complain a bit, she's so brave,
he thinks proudly.
Just like her Prefect brother.
Ginny Weasley's scared.
It's written in her eyes during her last days,
now he knows.
But instead he found excuses,
shut her up when she tried to speak,
too absorbed in his own thoughts to pay attention.
What will their parents and professors think?
How can he live with himself after this?
It's just too late.
