Emma could remember the first day she walked up to Regina's mansion of a house. She could remember the way her eyes lit up when they passed comments to each other and when they both finally came to an understanding about raising Henry. She could remember when they had been trapped in an elevator in a mine and how much love for Henry came across in the Mayors face. She could remember when she broke the curse and figured out that Regina really was the Evil Queen. She could remember when she had asked the Evil Queen out on a date and when they first kissed. She could remember their wedding and how the first few years were brilliant. She couldn't remember why they had gotten a divorce or why she left Storybrooke.

But now...Emma wanted to go back.

Emma looked out the window at her newest job. She was a receptionist for an orthodontic business. "Dr. Jim's Orthopedic Office" in red letters was on the door with the hours posted. She had gone to Boston in hopes of a new beginning. She looked back at her computer and looked at her wedding ring. She still pretended she was married to men to avoid looks from individuals who would want her to be their wife. She wasn't ready for a relationship yet. She stood up from her place in the office. She went to the break room and grabbed her purse out of her locker. She grabbed her keys out of her bag and walked out of the orthopedic office.

"Bye." She huffed. She went out to her yellow bug and got in, turning the car on and the radio. The song 'Arms' By Christina Perri found its way through her car speakers.

"I hope that you see right through my walls/I hope that you catch me, 'cause I'm already falling/I'll never let a love get so close/You put your arms around me and I'm home"

Emma found herself remembering a time in the first year Regina and herself were married. It was their first fight as a married couple. Regina had made dinner for Emma and when she arrived home she had just gone to bed.

"Why didn't you eat?" Regina had asked. She had been in her blue silk pajamas that night; Emmas favorite.

"I had a tough day and just want to sleep." Emma had said.

"Go and eat anyway." Regina had said like she would have to Henry. She hadn't really proposed the idea to Emma, she had commanded Emma to go.

"I'm not your kid, Gina. I'm not your subject either. You can't just order me to do what you want me to do." Emma spat.

"Fine! Then starve!" Regina shouted at Emma. She then had grabbed her pillow and stalked down the hall to the guest room.

Looking back on it, Emma saw how dumb this argument was and how that night she had had the worst night of trying to sleep since they had been married. Like the song she was crying to now suggested, Regina's arms around her was her home. A home she was greatly missing.

"I'm going home." Emma breathed out in a single shaky breath. "I need to go home." Emma looked up out of the window at the shopping center.
