Tangibility
Disclaimer: CSI and its characters don't belong to me. I'm just borrowing them for awhile.
Authors Notes: It'd be great if you reviewed. I'm new to writing fic, and I'd like to get some feedback. Thank you!
I always thought he was intangible. Emotions just couldn't seem to touch him, you know? In all the years I've known Gil Grissom, I could have counted all the times I've seen him express any kind of deep emotion, whether it be empathy, or anger, on one hand. I just always thought he was…Grissom. Not necessarily a robot, but he really didn't seem to feel anything deep. I knew that he did feel those things, but felt that he had to put on a façade. But then Nick was abducted, and his façade crumbled away bit by but as we watched Nick struggle in that box so far underneath the ground. I actually saw fear, and sadness in those deep blue eyes of his, and in that very moment, I realized he was just as tangible as the rest of us.
