Zombietomato: Hurray! My first entry in more than 4 months I think I have improved a bit too.
Disclaimer: I don't own digimon, or piano man by Billy Joel.
Shinjuku piano man
Its nine o'clock on a Saturday the regular crowd shuffles in
The young man sitting next to me Said "Son can you play me a memory" "I'm not really sure which one to choose" "But it's happy but a bit bitter-sweet. "yet, I'll know the one when I hear it, but I need to just hear sung out loud"
la la la, di da da
La la, di di da da dum
Chorus:
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us all feelin' all right
Now, my friend Rika is a former tamer, she teaches me how to play the digimon card game for free. She is quick with a smile, she'll always beat you in a blink, but you can tell there's someone else she'd rather see. She says "Takato, this is going wind up killing me!" as a smile ran away from her face. "Well, I'm sure I'd be able to see her again, if she ever does get out of that place!"
la la la, di da da
La la, di di da da dum
Ryo is a multi-millionaire, who has way too many to girls choose from, and thus never bothered to get a wife. And he's talking to Henry, who's still working for Hypnos, and probably will be for life.
Chorus
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us all feelin' all right
It's a pretty good crowd for a Saturday. And my friends Kazu and Kenta the managers give me a smile. 'Cause they know it's me that they've been comin' to see to let loose for a while. And the piano sounds like a guilmon and the microphone smells like Guilmon bread. And they sit at the bar, put money in my jar and ask "What's a singing baker doing at a bar?"
la la la, di da da
La la, di di da da dum
Chorus:
Sing us a song, you're the piano man
Sing us a song tonight
Well, we're all in the mood for a melody
And you've got us all feelin' all right
End of song.
Author's note:
Zombietomato: The Song based off real song by Billy Joel called piano man. For the most part this is a unique version of the song (except for the la di da thing and the chorus, partially cause I couldn't figure anything replace them with). Also if you haven't figured it out yet, the singer is Takato (duh!), and this is kind of aftermath of the tamers after they're grown-up and separated from their partners. I have been up since 1 am Central Standard Time writing this parody, so I'm terribly sorry if this wasn't very good.
