Diclaimer: If glee was mine, I wouldn't cut out all the wemma scenes!
Emma arrived back home late. She was tired, and all she wanted to do was to curl up in bed with her boyfriend and go to sleep. As she dropped her keys into the bowl she looked around the room.
It was covered in candles.
Full of curiosity, and with a soft smile on her face, Emma walked through to the living room which had been littered with rose petals.
'What is this?' She thought as she went to sit down, when suddenly she was met with the voice of her boyfriend, "Hey".
Emma half jumped, and turned around quickly, giggling softly "You startled me" and made her way over to him, softly ghosting her lips over his, "What's with the romantic gesture?".
"It's because" Will started as he took her hand, guiding her over to the couch "I wanted to ask you something."
Emma's heart started to beat faster as Will knelt down in front of her.
"Emma, you… Complete me. Words can't even explain how much I love you. You're kind, generous, beautiful, sexy" He said with a smirk, making her blush "And I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Emma" he whispered producing a black velvet box from his pocket "Make me the happiest guy alive, will you marry me?"
Emma felt as if her heart was about to explode with love and joy and sheer happiness for the man in front of her. She knelt down to his level, and gently cupping his face with her hands, brought her lips to his.
"I'll take that as a yes then?" Will chuckled when the kiss broke apart, carefully sliding the beautiful engagement ring onto her finger.
"Yeah" She half whispered, half giggled. Will gently moved closer, and once again his lips were on hers. Before Emma had time to even think Will had scooped her up bridal style and walked into the bedroom.
They arrived at school the next day so tired they could barely keep their eyes open, but it didn't stop the huge smiles they had plastered on their faces lasting all day long.
