"Troy, everybody's out partying with your friends." My dear mother said.

"I know, mum." I said, leaving the room to join them in the backyard.

Then I saw Chad talking to Zeke and Jason.

"Hey, man." Chad called over to me. "How's it going?"

"Good." I said "You?"

"I'm good." He said and walked away from me.

"How's it going, Troy?" Sharpay asked me.

"It's going good." I said to her and she gave me a small smile, then she walked away, just as Chad did.

Then I saw a new girl walk in and she had a halo above her head.

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"My name is Gabriella Montez." She said with a smile.

"My name is Troy Bolton." I said, introducing myself.

"Hi, Troy." She said. "It's nice to meet you."

"It's nice to meet you, Gabriella." I said, greeting her back.

"Are you friends with those guys over there?" She asked me and, I nodded yes.

"Yes," I said. "I am friends with them."

"What are their names?" She asked me and Chad came to join us.

"Making a new friend already?" He asked me.

"Yes, Chad." I said, sarcastically.

"So, this is one of your friends?" She questioned.

"Of course." I said, then I heard my dad call me.

"Troy, the party's almost over." I heard him say and, I went back into the house.

Then the next day arrived and, it was time for me to go back to school and meet my friends.

"Hey, Troy." I heard a voice call after me.

"Hey, Zeke." I said, walking up to the wildcats locker room.

"Are you thinking about that girl you saw at the party?" He asked me.

"Maybe, I am." I said, getting my books out. "But it was just one party. I couldn't be possibly be missing her."

'Seriously, I couldn't be.' I thought to myself.

"We know you couldn't be missing her, Troy." Chad said, joining the conversation. "But she could possibly show up at East High, or even signing up for the talent show. You'll never know what could happen here at East High."

"I guess your right." I said agreeing with him.

Then the bell rang and it was time to go to class.

"Troy, there's the girl you saw at the party." Jason whispered to me and, I turned around and saw her, sitting right at the very back of the classroom.

"Hey, Gabriella." I called over to her.

"Hey, Troy." She called back to me, then the teacher, Miss. Durbus came into the room.
