The same thing,I know, but Maya POV! Please Review!

Those blue eyes which never failed to capture her attention, when he wasn't noticing.

They would narrow, making his face one of those of seriousness, when someone was in trouble,or when he was in deep thought.

That face, which would never show too many emotions, would often smooth down to a soft smile, making her fall into a gleeful mood.

Or it would give an angry growl, warning the enemy that he or she was crossing their line, and they would have to back off.

There was something about him, something she had never thought of. He was different. Oh,how she longed for him to hold her in his strong arms. To listen his heartbeat peacefully. To lean on his shoulder, and have one of his arms around her.

All her daydreams ended, when one question flatly denied her fantasies.

Would he let her?

Would he hold her hand, kiss her cheek, put an arm around in the loving manner? Would he?

It was his nature to not show much of his emotions,or his training in Veran Mystics had taught him to hide his emotions behind his walls. This made it even more tough for the golden monkey to crack his secret.

She couldn't stand for more than 2 minutes without grinning like a fool infront of him,or making some weird facial expressions.

Love was confusing.

One moment he was a brother, the next he was a lover.

Love was a game for two, where both the players had to blindfolded. Either they reach each other, and get their vision back. Or one of them wanders away to get someone else, leaving the other with no meaning for life,to not be with each other;and hurt the one terribly that he/she might never slip out of that dark nightmare.

It was a live or scarred-for-life situation.

She dared not defy her judgement on love-it was a dangerous game. She wouldn't risk it. She wouldn't risk it until she understands how to play this game the safe way. Until she realised there wasn't a safe way. There was only one shot, either it wins or it loses.

It was all up to fate.

And she wasn't going to waste that one shot. She was going to keep it safely hidden behind the walls of her mind, until when she felt the time was right. And the time would be right only when she understood what love was.

But then, again, she couldn't understand love,no matter how much she pondered over it.

She just couldn't.
