AUTHOR'S NOTE: Hey, it's me, the girl who wrote Let's Play Love Potion. This is just a really stupid short story that I wrote over the course of one day, so sorry if it's bad. XD I still hope you enjoy it, I was trying to write something that feels more like a typical Kaeloo episode this time. I'll let you decide if I succeeded or not...

It was just another normal day in Smileyland - the sun was shining and the flowers were blooming. However, today would be a bit more special: you see, Kaeloo promised her buddies that she would take them to amusement park.

And of course, the one who was excited the most was Stumpy, who kept rewatching the ad for the Smileyland's amusement park on the internet over and over again.

"Oh man, today is going to be awesome!" he exclaimed. Quack Quack, who was watching the ad with him, quacked in agreement.

"And you know what I heard? There is going to be a special Mr. Coolskin ride as well! Oh, I can't wait to go on it!" Stumpy added. Quack Quack quacked in agreement once more. Even through he wasn't nearly as enthusiastic about Mr. Coolskin as his squirrel buddy, he was always happy to see him excited about things like that.

However, their excitement was temporarily stopped when Quack Quack's head was blown off. Stumpy looked to the right, and just as he expected, he saw Mr. Cat holding his famous bazooka.

"Pfft, do you seriously want to go on that stupid kiddy ride, Nutcracker?" he asked mockingly.

"Hey, Mr. Coolskin's Ride Through Space isn't 'kiddy'!" Stumpy angrily yelled.

"Look, if you want to prove yourself, you should go on this." Mr. Cat said and pulled out a poster with a picture of a skull and flames in the background. Quack Quack's and Stumpy's eyes widened in amazement.

"Woah, what is that?" Stumpy asked.

"It's a poster for Skull Crusher, the most exciting and dangerous ride in Smileyland's amusement park. And it's going to be there today! It can crush you, stretch you and even blow you up!" Mr. Cat explained while demonstrating with his hands as Stumpy continued to watch in amazement. "But I understand if you would rather go on that kiddy ride, not everyone has guts for something like that. It's nothing for minos."

Stumpy, feeling insulted, as well as genuinely curious and eager to impress his idol, loudly replied with: "Hey! I am not a baby! I will show you who's a boss! I will go on that ride! And Quack Quack will go with me, right, pal?"

Stumpy looked at Quack Quack, who was now in a fetal position, rocking back and forward, and quacking repeatedly.

LET'S PLAY IN AMUSEMENT PARK!

The four friends arrived to the amusement park. While Kaeloo, Stumpy and Quack Quack were looking at all the rides and attractions in awe, Mr. Cat had a bored and disappointed frown on his face. Kaeloo looked at him quizzically.

"Hey, what's the matter, Mr. Cat? Do you not like it here?" she asked.

"You call these rides? We might as well go to a normal park and go on one of those kiddy slides." Mr. Cat replied. Kaeloo expected that reaction from Mr. Cat - after all, he loved danger and he liked making himself look mature than his friends - but that didn't mean she wasn't a bit hurt by that response. She really wanted her friends to have fun, so knowing that Mr. Cat had this opinion made her a bit sad. That said, she kept a smile on her face and tried to look on the bright side.

"Come on, Mr. Cat, I am sure there will be at least one ride you'll end up liking."

Mr. Cat rolled his eyes and looked around. All of the rides seemed really childish to him.

Well, except for one.

There it was, in the middle of the park, the infamous Skull Crusher - a great, dark ride covered in chains. The ride contained a skull that kept opening and closing it's mouth, flamethrowers and claws that could grab and stretch anyone who went on it. Finally, Mr. Cat's face lighted up. He tapped Stumpy on the shoulder.

"Hey, Nutjob..." he said and pointed to the ride. Stumpy let out an amazed "woah" and started thinking about how impressed Mr. Cat and Ursula would be if he went on that.

The four continued walking and eventually arrived to the middle of the park.

"Okay buddies, you are allowed to go on any ride you want." Kaeloo said. Mr. Cat and Stumpy looked at each other with giant, toothy grins on their faces. However, their excitement was short lived, as the frog had this to add:

"Except for that one." she said and pointed to Skull Crusher. Stumpy's and Mr. Cat's grins turned into really long, disappointed frowns.

"Wha-what, but why?" Stumpy asked.

"Because it's really dangerous, Stumpy. I can't believe they even allowed that thing to be in a public amusement park. But other than that, you can go anywhere you want."

Stumpy looked on the ground sadly. Kaeloo, who didn't know about the talk between him and Mr. Cat, put her hand on his shoulder.

"Hey, wasn't there a Mr. Coolskin ride you wanted to go on?" she asked.

"I guess…" Stumpy answered sadly.

"Okay, buddies, let's go! This is going to be so much fun!"

Quack Quack ran off and Stumpy, with his head pointing towards the ground, followed him. Mr. Cat didn't really want to go on any rides besides Skull Crusher and Kaeloo wasn't exactly a big fan of amusement park rides either - she really only went there because Stumpy kept bugging her about it, she wanted her friends to have fun and even through she didn't really see the appeal of amusement park rides, it was still better than letting her friends waste their time in front of the TV. But there were other attractions besides rides. For example, one thing that caught her attention was a fun house, so she decided to look into it. And since he was bored, Mr. Cat decided to follow her.

Kaeloo entered the fun house and found herself in a room full of various warping mirrors. There was one that made her look really skinny, one that made her look inflated and one that made her look all wiggly. She made a squat and then stood up. Her reflection in the mirror got squeezed like an accordion and then returned back "to normal" in the progress. This made the frog giggle.

"Hey, Tadpole, don't you think I look a bit like the toad in this mirror?" Mr. Cat asked, surprising Kaeloo, who didn't know that Mr. Cat followed her. She turned around and saw him making poses in front of a mirror that made him appear muscular.

"Oh, Mr. Cat, you are so silly…" Kaeloo giggled and her cheeks turned red. The cat laughed in reply. She didn't even realize it, but her eyes started roaming across Mr. Cat's body as he kept making those bodybuilder poses as a joke. When he stopped, Kaeloo realized what she's been doing and shook her head, feeling a bit dirty for what she just did and her face became even redder.

"Look, you know that that ride can't actually hurt us, right?" Mr. Cat asked. "It's just a ride. Come on, why don't you want us to go there?"

"No, Mr. Cat, people already got hurt on that ride, you can't go there, I don't want something bad to happen to you, Stumpy or Quack Quack, please, listen to me."

"Come on, Tadpole, we survived much worse! Should I remind you that you transform into this buff toad and beat me up every day? Kind of hypocritical of you, isn't it?"

"MR. CAT! You aren't going on that ride and that's final! Don't make me angry!" Kaeloo finally yelled out and stormed out of the fun house.

"Ugh, just as I thought that me and Mr. Cat could just hang out together, without him trying to find ways to make me mad. The nerve of that cat…" she thought to herself. To calm herself down, Kaeloo decided to look through the shops that sold all sorts of toys and sweets.

Meanwhile, Mr. Cat walked out of the fun house as well, feeling a bit guilty for almost making Kaeloo angry. Well, being him, it didn't last long. Just as he was about to check out the other attractions, Stumpy came up to him, wearing a hat and holding a box filled with popcorn.

"Hey, Nutcracker. Are you having fun? 'Cause I am not." Mr. Cat said.

"Yeah, me neither. I REALLY wanted to go onto Skull Crusher."

Just then, Mr. Cat got one of his mischievious ideas:

"You know, what the frog doesn't know about won't hurt her…"

Mr. Cat looked into one of the shops that had a life-sized plushie of a squirrel and a cat mask that looked suspiciously like Stumpy and him respectively.

Kaeloo was looking around the shops and bought cotton candy and a frog plushie. She almost forgot about her recent argument with Mr. Cat and just assumed that Mr. Cat listened to her.

The frog noticed "Mr. Cat" and "Stumpy" buying something from a nearby shop as well. "Mr. Cat" had a yellow body and was taller than Mr. Cat, but Kaeloo, being oblivious as always, was fully convinced that it was really him.

"Hello Mr. Cat, hello Stumpy." she said to them, but neither of them replied. "Look, I am sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. It's just, you are my friends and I don't want anything bad to happen to you."

"Quack."

Kaeloo's eyes widened in shock when "Mr. Cat" replied with a familiar sounding "quack". She grabbed "Mr. Cat's" face, which fell off, revealing Quack Quack's face underneath. She then tapped "Stumpy" on the shoulder and the material that "he" was made out of gave her a clear sign it was just a plushie.

"Wait, but if you are Quack Quack and this is just a plushie then where are…" Kaeloo said and then suddenly, everything clicked together. She screamed and ran up to the Skull Crusher, where, big surprise, Stumpy and Mr. Cat were standing in line.

"MR. CAT! STUMPY!" Kaeloo yelled. Stumpy turned around with a nervous grin on his face and Mr. Cat just had his usual uncaring and smug smile.

"Hey Tadpole, wanna join us?" he asked.

"YOU ARE ASKING ME IF I- YOU TWO DELIBERATELY DISOBEYED ME!" she continued.

Mr. Cat pulled out a can of soda and offered it to Kaeloo. "Do you need a drink?"

Kaeloo transformed into Bad Kaeloo, grabbed the soda can and threw it away. She then grabbed Stumpy, squeezed him into a ball and threw him away as well. Mr. Cat, knowing very well that he was next on Bad Kaeloo's "list", ran onto the ride, sat down and put on seatbelts. The ride started and Bad Kaeloo grabbed onto the rollercoaster train that Mr. Cat was in.

As the train went up, Bad Kaeloo smashed the roof it and pulled Mr. Cat out by his neck.

"Wow, maybe you were right, this ride is pretty dangerous…" Mr. Cat quipped and followed it up with laughter. Bad Kaeloo growled at him, only to remember where she was: on the top of a scary and potentionally dangerous rollercoaster that she was trying to protect her friends from. She looked down and the terror that she experienced from this was so strong that it "overwrote" her anger and made her detransform. The two fell back into the train, which, thanks to Bad Kaeloo's actions, was now stuck on the top. While Mr. Cat was surprisingly calm, Kaeloo was shaking in fear and her lips were completely discolored.

"Hey there, are you okay…?" he asked.

"YOU ARE ASKING ME IF I AM OKAY?! Look what you got us into!"

"Woah, woah, shifting the blame a bit, aren't you, Tadpole? You were the one who broke this train."

"But that would never happen if you just listened to me for once! Why are you getting out of making me so angry all the time?!"

"Ugh, I am sorry, okay, it's not my fault you are such a goody-two-shoes…"

Kaeloo, however, didn't reply to that last comment. Mr. Cat looked at her, only to see that tears were going down her face.

"Hey, Froggy, I didn't mean it like that." he said as Kaeloo started sniffing.

"I was really worried about you and Stumpy, Mr. Cat. Why do you think I don't like it when you make me angry? And now we are stuck on this stupid ride together."

Mr. Cat finally realized just how much he messed up. He wasn't used to seeing her this distraught and afraid because of him. At the very least, he could try making her feel safe?

Mr. Cat moved closer to Kaeloo and wrapped his arm around her. Kaeloo's cheeks became red again and somehow, even her lips quickly got back their usual green color.

"Does this make you feel better?" he asked. Kaeloo wanted to say "yes" but this was such a strange - but not exactly bad - situation that she basically lost her speech. So, to answer Mr. Cat's question, she just smiled, nodded her head and put it on Mr. Cat's shoulder. Thanks to the warmth that was coming from Mr. Cat's body, her eyes started closing and she forgot that she was even stuck on a rollercoaster. Her mind, for whatever reason, convinced her that she was back at home, lying either in her bed or on the grass, next to some pretty flowers and that everything was okay. Mr. Cat wasn't exactly complaining either. It was a nice change of pace, to just be with with this adorable, sweet frog alone, in peace…

Just as Kaeloo was about to drift off, she felt something running across her chest. She looked at Mr. Cat, who had a strangely suggestive smile on his face. Then she looked down on her chest and realized that the thing that was running across her chest were Mr. Cat's fingers.

"You know, now that we are alone, we can have some… fun…" he said, slowly, in an even deeper voice than usually. Kaeloo finally realized what was on the cat's mind and she pushed him away.

"Uh, thanks for comforting me, Mr. Cat, but, uh, I think we should start thinking about how we will get out of this mess." she said. Her cheeks were still burning red. Then suddenly, just as she said that, the train started vibrating. Kaeloo and Mr. Cat looked out of the right window, only to see that Stumpy and Quack Quack were doing something inside the rollercoaster booth.

"DON'T WORRY, YOU TWO! WE'LL SAVE YOU!" Stumpy screamed. Quack Quack pressed some sort of button and the train started going down the rollercoaster extremely quickly. Kaeloo and Mr. Cat once again moved close to each other and wrapped their arms around each other, keep themselves safe and started yelling on top of their lungs as every single thing that the ride promised happened to them. The train fell from the rollercoaster and Mr. Cat and Kaeloo ended up on a bouncy castle in a pretty embarrassing position, with Kaeloo on the bottom and Mr. Cat on the top. Mr. Cat grinned at Kaeloo with half-closed eyes. The frog wasn't amused by this and simply pushed Mr. Cat off. The two made their way back to Stumpy and Quack Quack, who were clearly happy that they managed to save them.

"I hope this taught you an important lesson." Kaeloo said and looked at Mr. Cat and Stumpy.

"Come on, Froggy, it was fun!" Mr. Cat said.

"FUN?!" Kaeloo screamed, only to calm herself by taking a deep breath. "Well…" she said as she blushed again and started rubbing the back of her head "This is going to sound strange, but it was actually kind of nice…"

Mr. Cat smiled and nodded his head. Stumpy looked at Kaeloo and Mr. Cat quizzically.

"Hey, what happened?! D-did something happen on the top of the rollercoaster?!" he asked. Mr. Cat and Kaeloo looked at each other nervously, only to smile and wink at each other, which confused Stumpy further. "Come on, tell me! I won't tell anyone!"

Kaeloo and Mr. Cat walked away together as Stumpy just stood there, all confused.

"Aw, man, they left!" he said as his head started shaking and he started spouting gibberish, just like he always did when he was nervous or confused.
