Sara entered the break room where Grissom, Catherine, and Warrick were gathered. Nick had yet to show up.

She tossed a folded up t-shirt at Grissom's head.

Grissom caught the shirt before it could smack him in the face. "Thanks," he said with a grin. "I was looking for that."

Sara grinned back as she took a seat at the table. "Maybe you should take it with you next time."

Warrick choked on his coffee.

Catherine gaped at Sara. Then she gaped at Grissom.

Aside from Warrick's coughing, you could have heard a pin drop.

Catherine quickly recovered from her shock. "What did you mean by that, Sara?"

Sara gave Catherine an innocent look. "I meant that he doesn't need to be leaving his clothes at my apartment."

Grissom sent Sara a smirk. "Well I seem to recall you leaving me half a pair of socks once."

Warrick finished choking and coughing. "Is there something going on that we should know about?" he asked Grissom and Sara.

Sara looked at Grissom.

Grissom stared back at Sara.

Together, they said, "No."

Catherine was about to press further when Nick came into the room.

Nick saw the folded t-shirt laying on the table in front of his boss. With a knowing smirk to Sara, he said, "He's leaving stuff behind again?"

This time Catherine choked on her coffee.

Sara nodded casually. "He always does."

Catherine marveled at the way Sara didn't even deny it. Grissom didn't deny it either. "What do you know about it, Nicky?" Catherine asked suspiciously.

With a little wink to Sara, Nick answered Catherine. "Grissom's washing machine is on the fritz again. He's been using Sara's. Right, Griss?"

"Yep," Grissom answered smoothly. He gave a quick explanation for his 'sock' comment. "Sara used mine once when hers wasn't working. Left a sock behind. What did you guys think was going on?"

Catherine gave Grissom, Sara and Nick a very skeptical look. "Nothing," she said finally. "Never mind."

Sara held back her grin. She caught Grissom's eye, and when nobody else was looking she signed a question to him. See you after shift?

Grissom signed back, Your place or mine?
