You wake up to a spear in your face, surrounded by several people dressed like they're going to a costume party as gladiators

"Woah!" you exclaim, backing up fearfully. "What's going on?"

"We ask the questions here," says a girl with short brown hair and hazel eyes. It's easy to she's the one in charge. "Who are you and why are you here?"

You can't really remember anything (and it's not like you know where here is anyways), but at that moment a name comes to you and you know it's yours.

"Percy," you say. "Percy Jackson. And honestly that is all I know."

Luckily the gladiators believe that you don't know anything, and decide to take you back to "camp". There you meet Lupa, the one in charge.

(you don't mention how you were hoping to see a c e n t u a r not a wolf in charge)

You're a demigod you learn, a son of the gods of ancient Rome. You stay in the Mercury cabin, hoping to be determined. You spend your days training and trying to learn Latin.

(for some reason, the dyslexia is worse when you try to read in it and you don't pick it up like the others.)

You're finally determined during a "mock" gladiator battle (no one mentions how some people have d i e d before) and everybody's excited to have a son of Neptune at camp.

(so why do you always want to say you're a son of Poseidon?)

People ask you if you remember anything, anything at all. You lie and shake your head no. It's lying because you do remember some things. Like your name is Percy, and you like blue foods, and you can use a sword (but the style you use is different from what all the others use) and you have a sword named Riptide, and there's a beautiful girl with curly blonde hair and grey eyes that calls you 'Seaweed Brain' and even though you can't remember her name you know you just might love her.

And so when the Greeks come and you see her, in shorts and a orange shirt, your heart nearly beats out of your chest, and you think you might faint. Suddenly, Jason son of Jupiter is back and he's in charge, and he's saying that Juno ('Hera,' you automatically correct in your head) has switched him with the hero of the Greek's Camp Half-Blood, and that hero probably has amnesia, but goes by the name of Percy Jackson.

Suddenly all eyes are on you (and you can feel her eyes, but you don't look at her) and all you can do is stutter out, "Excuse me?" and you're confused but everything finally starts to make sense.

Then you pass out and you're totally gonna get it from Dakota later, but you aren't thinking about that because now you can remember and you can't even be properly angry at Hera because you're so happy to know who you are, and more importantly who she is.

Her name is Annabeth, and she's a daughter of Athena, and she's scary smart, afraid of spiders, super-deadly with a knife, held up the sky with you, and you know that you totally don't deserve her, but you love her so, so much.

And you can remember other things too, like you're mom and how she protected you for so many years, and her new husband Paul. You remember the war and defeating Kronos, and choosing to stay mortal, mortal for her, her, her.

It's the over-whelming desire to see that brings you back into the world. You're in the infirmary, and she's sitting over you like the first time you met, except this time there's worry in her eyes, and she's gently squeezing your hand.

You squeeze back, and whisper her name,

'Annabeth,'

She smiles, and your world is complete.
