All night Dean and Blaise circled one another whilst at the party. Dean stole a few glances while laughing with his friends and did not fail to notice the way Blaise would brush his hand when they passed one another.
This had been going on for a while now. It began after Dean and Blaise would constantly see each other at parties or pass one another on the street. Somewhere along the line they had started being slightly friendly, until one day Dean finally went up to the bloke. Blaise had been polite enough, if not a bit guarded at first. Sometime after that Blaise had owled him and they had been talking ever since, occasionally sneaking off for a snog when they were out, casting Notice-Me-Not charms when they managed to find somewhere secluded.
Things were getting past that casual limbo that they had been in though. They were spending time at the other's flat and on rare occasions they would go for lunch. Their friends knew that they were talking but did not seem to think much of it, or at least Dean's friends did not. He would need to talk to Blaise about it soon.
By the time he and Blaise had somehow managed to finally get away from their respective groups Dean was tipsy and hot and wanted them to hurry up and have a frot.
"No one's looking- do it now!" he said, having to raise his voice just a bit because of the music.
"You're starting to sound like me," Blaise smirked, as he cast the Notice-Me-Not charm and pulled Dean towards him. The man kissed him briefly before pulling away.
"What if I told that-"
"What?" Dean asked, unable to hear Blaise properly.
The other man sighed and muttered a spell before the sounds around them dropped a few notches. "What if I told you that I wouldn't mind snogging you outside of the Notice-Me-Not charm?" Blaise asked.
"You want to what now?" Dean asked, utterly surprised.
"I'm passively suggesting that we explore the option of dating each other," Blaise clarified, swallowing as he waited for a reply. "... I was going to wait but I seem to have lost my patien-"
"Am I more pissed than I thought?" Dean frowned, because out of the two of them Blaise was the last one he would have expected to start this conversation. "I swear I just heard you-"
"I did," Blaise said, pulling away a bit.
"...I didn't say no to you," Dean pointed out, tugging at Blaise's shirt front.
"You didn't say yes either," Blaise countered.
"Right," Dean smiled. "Well, I say you take down the Notice-Me-Not and we can hash out the rest of the details tomorrow because I really want to snog you right now."
