Here is a quick drabble I wrote. sorry if it's too short but I am not really inspired while I am still sick. Enjoy!

Draco and Hermione were walking outside on their way to Care of Magical Creatures. Everybody stared at the couple, still not used to the idea that the former enemies were now dating. The only house that really hadn't taken to their relationship was the Slytherins. The other three welcomed their rapport a little more gracefully, though the Gryffindors were reluctant to do so at first.

It was a beautiful sunny day out side and everyone was in a great mood because it was Friday and the last class of the day. Draco and Hermione were no exception to this excitement-the couple had a romantic date planned for later that night and Hermione was eagerly anticipating it.

This good mood was spoiled when a few of Draco's friends-Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle-came up to them blocking their path. Pansy then said, "Hey, Mudblood, you better stay away from Draco if you know what is best for you." The boys at her side chuckled.

Draco spoke to his friend in an angered tone, "What gives you the right to say that, Pansy? Not only do I not belong to you but you don't have the right to threaten my girlfriend. Especially when I am standing right here! Hermione is ten time the person you will ever be and you want to know why? She is kind, caring, and passionate about what she believes in and she is more intelligent then you will ever come to be. Plus I know for a fact that unlike you she doesn't want to be with me just because my family is rich. She could care less about petty artificial things like that. Unlike you, she likes me for me and frankly she is also much much classier than you. You may think you are the best but in reality you pale in comparison to Hermione," Pansy started to say something but Draco continued on, ignoring her, "Oh and by the way if you ever call her that name again I will personally see to it that your reputation is ruined and you can never show your face in public again!"

Pansy looked absolutely speechless and flustered. All the people that were walking had stopped to listen to Draco yell at his friend. If there was any doubt about his feelings towards Hermione they were gone now.

After a few seconds of standing there like a gaping fish, Pansy simply let out a shriek and stormed off in the opposite direction with Crabbe and Goyle following behind her like obidient puppies.

"Wow, Draco, I didn't think you would stand up to your friend like that, I was just going to cover her in boils with a hex, but I think that was better than anything I could have done to her." She smiled at him and he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

They resumed walking so they wouldn't be late to class, "You really think so?"

She entwined his hand in hers, "I know so."

Did you like it? Tell me if you did. Again I apologize for the length but it's hard to write well when you feel like you are half dead. I will update stuff later this week (if by some miracle I am better)

Tata for now!
