A/N: Okay, so I lied when I said I wouldn't be posting anything else. But that's a good thing, right? However, this WILL be that last thing that I am posting until the new year. So lucky you! You get one last story before I'm done for now! :D

Story Summary: After Children of Earth, Ianto isn't dead, he just passed out from a severe lack of oxygen. When he awakes in a hospital, he has no recollection of the past few years, no recollection of Torchwood, and no recollection of Jack Harkness. All he remembers is his sister and her family. Meanwhile, Jack is torn up over his lovers death and is going through a slight depression about it. One day, while he is walking around in Cardiff, he bumps into Ianto. Jack paused and does a double take, shocked that his lover is alive, he calls out his name. The following story is what happends during that meeting.

Do You Remember Me?

"Ianto! Ianto stop!"

The nicely dressed man paused and looked around, trying to find out who had called his name. As a puzzle look crossed his face, a handsome man wearing a jacket from World War Two. The man had light brown hair and was slightly out of breath. He grabbed a hold of the taller mans hands and looked at him straight in the eye, and when he spoke, it was in an American accent.

"Ianto Jones, please tell me you know who I am," he begged.

The nicely dressed man, Ianto, took a step back. How did he know his name? He had never seen this man before. Surely, he would remember a man as handsome as this. Ianto brought a hand up at rub the back of his head, as if hoping that the movement would shake loose some memories. When none surfaced, he gave the man an apologetic look.

"I'm sorry, but I have no idea who you are," Ianto told him in the most sympathetic voice he could muster.

As the world's registered with the other man, he watched as the man's heart broke. The reaction to his words were plain on his face. The man's face twisted in pain, and his eyes dimmed with pain as un-shed tears pricked his blue eyes.

Ianto swallowed, "I'm sorry, but I really have to be going."

The blue eyed man blinked and nodded and slowly let go of the hold he had on Ianto's hands. "Y-yeah... I'm sorry... I... I just..."

Ianto placed a hand on the man's shoulder, wanting to reassure him, "It's okay, really." He gave him a small smile before dropping his hands and walking off.

If he had turned around, he would have seen the other man drop to his knees as tears fell from his eyes without a stop.

A/N 2: Yeah, it's obcenely short, but I thought of it late last night, and I wanted to post it and have it out in the world. That being said, I hoped you liked it, please comment, favorite, alert, whatever you like, to this small one-shot story. This will be the last ting I am posting until the new year, again, and I hope you enoyed it's teeny tinyness.

With love,
