My first World Ends With You fic! Tell me how I did!

Kind of sad... and I only use two names in it, one of which isn't one of the main characters. So the he is Neku and the she is Shiki, for those of you who couldn't figure it out (though the character selections should be indication enough).

I'm not too sure about this one. So I'm kind of nervous and would really appreciate some feedback.

She had been everything to him. Even if he wouldn't admit it, she was everything. She was what had kept him going all this time, after the Game was over... Without her there, what was there? Just... emptiness.

He knew he should have said something to her about it. But there was never a good time... hah. There were plenty of times. He was just trying to make excuses. There really were no good excuses. She had clearly liked him. He'd known. She'd been shy and bashful at first, making awkward conversation with him and not really flirting, but being as friendly as she could without seeming too forward.

He'd reciprocated in a way. In so much as he could... he'd changed during the Game and afterwards he was a different person, but he hadn't changed that much. He was still socially awkward and not quite sure how to react to a girl flirting with him.

He'd always liked her. Maybe not always romantically, but things change... he'd grown to like her that way. It had probably started when he told her he liked how she looked better than how Eri looked. She'd gone bright red and stuttered and then ran away. It had been so adorable...

He didn't exactly love her. He liked her a lot, certainly, but it wasn't really love.

But what tore him up the most was that it could have been. He knew that if he'd just... he knew if things had been different, he would have fallen in love with her. He'd been half-way there already.

And now she was gone.

Shiki was gone. His light... his everything was gone. She'd been in another car crash, fatal... again.

Oh, he knew about the Game, he knew what happened.

But he didn't know what had happened to her! Had she been let in? If she had, would she make it out of there? Would she get erased?

He just didn't know.

All he did know was that the girl he would've come to love was dead and gone, and chances are she would never come back.

His light was gone.

Hmm... well, review please.
