It was an odd feeling for Zuko. Foreign, really. But then again, there came a time when every ruler had to kneel. Even if it was just to ask a woman to marry him.
Zuko opened the box to reveal the carefully carved blue stone. He took the black velvet band that the stone dangled from. He carefully walked around to her back. He untied the necklace around her neck. It disappeared.
He gently tied the velvet around her slim, light brown neck. He leaned close to her perfect ear. "Will you marry me, Katara?" he whispered.
She turned around and their lips touched.
Dangling from her hand, a soft blue stone sparkled.
A/N: Yeah I think this better short. I tried to lengthen it but it didn't feel right.
