Korra and Asami stood in the driveway near the mansion watching Mako talk with his family.
"Do you still live here?" Korra asked, scratching the back of her head.
"No, I live in the city, close to the factory. It's easier for work."
"Right, right… I'm not glad Wu was kidnapped, but it was pretty fun beating up some bad guys with you."
" Yeah, it was," she said, smiling. She had hoped Korra wouldn't bring that up. "You know what happened was an accident right?"
"What are you talking about?"
Asami's eyes narrowed, sizing Korra up. She looked innocent enough, but there was a certain glint in her eye... One couldn't be sure. "On the train, before we jumped off."
Korra stared at her blankly.
"I grabbed your breast," Asami whispered, though there was no one else to hear.
A sly grin inched its way across Korra's face and her eyes flashed. "Well, that doesn't sound like much of an accident at all. Didn't feel like one either."
"Korra, it was a mistake! I was just reaching for you because we were jumping off a train!"
Korra glanced nonchalantly at her fingernails. "So you're saying it's not going to happen again?"
Asami sputtered, the color of her face mirroring Pabu's fur, but it only lasted a few moments. She wasn't about to let Korra win this little game. She grabbed Korra's hand; pulling her close as her other hand came to rest on Korra's hip.
"Tonight," Asami said.
She was close enough that Korra could feel the word on her ear, but all too soon Asami stepped away, composed and smirking as Korra stood red-faced and speechless.
Mako strode up to them, irritated. "I swear, if Wu makes trouble here, I – seriously, what is up with you too?!"
