I know I should be working on my KHR fanfics, but I just watched Kuroshitsuji The Musical 2: The Most Beautiful Death In The World, and I had to write a SebastianxCiel Fanfic. This is more verbal banter than action, so I'm sorry if the dialogue is difficult to follow.

"Some people never say the words "I love you". It's not their style to be so bold. Some people never say those words: "I love you", but like a child, they're longing to be told." ~Paul Simon

Ciel sat in his office chair, staring bleakly at the piles of paperwork he had sitting in front of him. He had just returned home after a horrible case in London, which had ended in the deaths of two shinigami.

Sebastian had warned him of course. He had told him that a mountain of paperwork would be awaiting his return.

But I didn't think it'd be this bad. Ciel groaned inwardly.

A soft knock on the door announced his butler's presence.

"Bocchan, I have brought your tea."

"Bring it here, Sebastian."

The raven-haired demon swiftly wheeled in the tray.

"Earl Grey, Bocchan. Would you like a scone or a muffin to accompany it?"

"A scone. Does it have lemon curd?"

"But of course." Sebastian answered smoothly, pouring the cup of tea.

"If I didn't know what kind of filling my master preferred-"

"Then what kind of butler would you be."

Sebastian's thin lips curled into a feline smile.

"Took the words right out of my mouth."

"It's not that hard." The young boy scoffed, reaching his hand out for the cup of tea.

Sebastian continued the smile as he handed his young master the cup of liquid.

Ciel sipped at the tea thoughtfully, his azure eye fixated on something in the distance.

"Sebastian, I can ask you anything, right?"

"Of course, Bocchan."

Ciel sighed and set the cup of tea in his lap, his small hands cradling the hot cup.

"How is it that one person would sacrifice everything for another?"

"Ah, are you referring to yesterday's scenario with Alan and Eric?"

"No, I am referring to Abberline and Undertaker. Of course Alan and Eric!"

Sebastian chuckled softly before turning to prepare the scone.

"It's because they love each other."

"Love is a silly thing, why give up everything you have for it?"

"Bocchan, once you feel love, you will understand."

"How would I understand if no one would ever bother to love someone like me. I'll be dead soon anyways, what does it even matter." Ciel scoffed, sipping at his tea again.

"Bocchan, I'm sure that there are people who love you."

"That are alive, Sebastian."

"I can name five people off the top of my head."

"Oh really? Do it. That's an order."

"Mey-Rin, Bard, Finny, Elizabeth, and myself."

"That kind of love is…" Ciel's eyes widened as Sebastian's last word sank in.

"Sebastian… did you just say that you loved me?"

"That I did, Bocchan."

The cup of tea tumbled out of Ciel's grasp as the blue eye widened in shock. Sebastian turned at the noise, and tisked at the stain that was spreading down the leg of the royal blue trousers.

"Bocchan, I don't think even I can save those trousers now."

Ciel simply stared at his butler as the demon kneeled to begin removing the stained clothing.

"But… you're a demon! I am your meal! How can you love me?"

Sebastian simply smirked, placing a soft, chaste kiss on the Earl's forehead.

"The same way that Eric was able to sacrifice everything for Alan's sake."
