We waited for the forth Spider-Man movie in the original film series...

It never happened.

It got cancelled.

Ultimately, a certain plot point which occurred in the movies never got resolved.

I have taken it upon myself to write Spider-Man 4 myself to fix this unfinished arc.

Disclaimer: I don't own Spider-Man. If I did, I would uncancel Spider-Man 4 and this would happen. But no, Spider-Man belongs to Marvel.

Spider-Man was swinging through the streets of New York, looking forward to arriving home. It had been another busy day of fighting crime and saving lives for the young superhero. As he swung his way under the evening sky, he gazed out where the sun was setting over the city, reflecting on his life up to that point.

Things had never been the same for him since he had been bitten by the radioactive spider who had given him his superpowers. So much had happened during that time. The death of his Uncle Ben had driven him to use his powers for good. In the years that had passed, he had foiled many highly dangerous criminals such as the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Venom. He had also come to the rescue of many innocent civilians in peril, including the love of his life, Mary Jane Watson, who he had succeeded to win the heart of. Everything that had happened in his life at this point had been driven by the words his uncle had given him before he'd lost him, which he'd lived by ever since.

"With great power comes great responsibility."

With these words, Spider-Man had accomplished so much while changing things for others for the better.

And yet, there was still something in his life he hadn't achieved. Something which not even his own powers could help him gain. There had been no sign of it ever happening for him.

"Peter! Is that you?"

Having just entered his apartment after changing out of his Spidey suit, Peter Parker heard his name being called from the top of the staircase. He climbed up to find his landlord, Mr Ditkovich, standing outside his door. His young daughter, Ursula, was standing next to him. A smile on her face while her eyes twinkled as always when she saw Peter.

"What is it, Mr Ditkovich?"

"I have a surprise for you!"

Mr Ditkovich held up his one hand the show Peter he was holding a screwdriver. Using his other hand, he gestured towards what he was standing outside.

"I fixed your door!"

"Oh, cool!" Peter was elated. "Thanks Mr Ditkovich! I really appreciate you doing that!"

"So do you think you could give me rent now?"

"Sure! I'll just get it and give it to you straightaway!"

Beaming, Mr Ditkovich headed away from the boy, smiling triumphantly. Ursula followed closely behind him, a look of reluctance over leaving Peter in her eyes.

Unable to keep the grin off his face, Peter unlocked the door before trying it. It swung open easily with no problem.

Finally, after all this time of waiting and asking, Peter thought, Mr Ditkovich finally decided to FIX THIS DAMN DOOR!

Peter went inside to get his landlord's rent, closing the door behind him.

The end.
