There were black arrows on the wing of the plane. Jim tried to figure out what they were pointing at. There was nothing there. But as he sat there, studying them, it suddenly dawned on him. They were pointing at the quite obvious fact that he was being an idiot. They were pointing in the direction he should be going. They were pointing back to Scranton.
The captain's voice crackled over the PA system, "We are about to begin our descent into Los Angeles. For those continuing on to Sydney today, this will be your plane, so you can remain on board when we land."
When the plane landed and the fasten seatbelt sign was turned off, Jim was the first one off the plane.
It was a beautiful wedding.
