Sacrifice

First sect:

Enobaria tosses in the penny and hopes that the luck she gets is worth more than a penny. Next day she's reaped and gets a shot at aristocracy.

Second sect:

There's an instinct in Enobaria that screams, "Die."

Death creeps onto her shoulder and says, "I can help you die," and calls Soapweed to come kill her.

Third Sect:

The Games repays penny and there: the victor of 60 is fifteen year old girl from 2.

And the instinct says," Please die."

"Shut up."

Fourth Sect:

It's the night after Enobaria spent some time in the Capitolian's room, and she must say that she preferred her room.

The question isn't about do you want to do it or what: the question is about, "Do you want your dad and grandma to live, Miss Filler?"

"Yes, thank you."

Note: They died.

Fifth sect:

It's the third Quarter Quell, joy, and they want to see Enobaria fight again. Why? I don't know; ask the Capitolians.

Enobaria licks her sharp teeth and Wonders what stunt she has to do. Nail forehead out? Put mutts on you? Talk you to death? Acupuncture? Number theory?

Sixth sect:

There's no victor to this whole mess and Enobaria is rotting in a mailroom turned jail room. Snow visits her sometimes and offers her blood-flavored ice cream with a dash of rose. Enobaria decides that it could be poisoned. Or narcotized. Or both.

Seventh sect:

Enobaria tosses a penny that the Warden left behind, and hopes for luck. Next day rebel rescues her and she votes on murdering the children of Capitol.

Yes, because Johanna and her boyfriend Gale might kill her otherwise and the Capitol should taste their own medicine. It teaches them the pain of blood in front of you and the agony your sinuses get from too many roses.

Eighth sect:

An instinct inside Enobaria whines, "I want to die."

"All right, I hear you out."

"You've given so much for life. It isn't fair."

"And that's why I'll keep sacrificing, death wannabe."

Ah. A bit rushed, but hopefully you don't regret reading.

Review and I'll tell you the ideal gas law and the Van der Waals one too.
