Part 1

I'm not ready to go to College, I feel so young. It was bad enough leaving school but moving to a new, bigger, scarier place worried me a lot more. Was I going to fit in? Was I going to make friends? Was I going to get lost? So many thoughts filled my head, overloading it with worries.

I got in the car with my mum in my black leggings, denim skirt and a strappy blue top with my nude slip-on ballet pumps. I'd checked my bag about 400 times, making sure I was ready for my first lesson of the day Psychology. My timetable was Psychology, Biology, Drama, Free and finally Sociology.

The journey seemed to be taking forever, longer than I'd imagined, it was probably because I was so nervous. About half an hour later I turned up at London State College, said goodbye to my mum and old her I'd see her at the end of the term as I'd be boarding. With a deep breath, I walked to Reception.

As I entered the school, all the buildings were modern, glass and tall, not to mention fashionable. I approached the desk, booked myself in and asked if there was anyone to give me a tour because I had no idea where I was going. The receptionist pointed to her left as 2 girls approached me.

"Hey!" they both said in unison.

"I'm Hanna"

"And I'm Destiny" she said shyly

"Pleased to meet you" I replied.

We walked around together as they took me to the Performing Arts Block, Psychology, Sociology and Science block. They both seemed really nice and I began to think we could become really good friends. Hanna had beautiful brown hair, wrapped up in a bun. She was wearing skinny jeans and a pink strappy top almost like mine. Destiny was beautiful; she was tall with long brown hair which fell perfectly over her shoulders and bright blue eyes. She was wearing a white vest top and shirt shorts and she looked really easy to get along with.

I asked them both what lessons they took and they both said Drama, Psychology, Sociology and Biology. How weird? All 3 of us were in the same classes doing the same lessons at the same time. Maybe college won't be too bad after all.

Sorry if you haven't been introduced yet but I'm getting there slowly… Feedback please?
