i don't pretend to be a good writer. at all. but hey, here's some nuna fluff!

oh, and this is dedicated to the neville to my luna. he knows who he is :) xx

"Luna? What are you doing up there?" Luna smiled at the worry in his voice. "Hello, Neville Longbottom!" she replied, swinging her legs, and looking down at him. How did she even get up there without him noticing? One minute she was sat on their picnic blanket, quietly making a daisy chain, he looked back and she was saton a branch halfway up a tree, daisy chain abandoned. "Luna, please get down before you hurt yourself!" Neville shouted, looking slightly concerned. She merely grinned at him. Running a hand through his hair, he desperately thought of ways to get her down.

"You can have the last piece of cake!" She smirked, produced her wand, and suddenly, there was the cake, in her hand. Neville sighed, "I'll buy you flowers; lots of them!" "Not working!" She sang back mockingly. "I'll finish your daisy chain for you? I'll make you a daisy crown!" She merely shook her head. "…Just get down, please? For me?" he groaned. Licking the chocolate icing from her hand, she cocked her head, and declared, "The tree won't let me fall!"

As if to demonstrate, she swung her upper half backwards, dangling from the tree branch by her legs. Neville let out a panicked shout, and rushed to the spot on the ground directly underneath her. "Luna! Sit up, and get down, please!" The older boy was beginning to become very worried now, as she began to swing precariously back and forth, her blonde hair flying out beneath her.

In a last ditch attempt to get her to come down, he cried out, "Luna, look out! There's a nargle in that tree!" She cried out, thrashing her legs in an attempt to shoo them, forgetting that they were the only thing holding her up. She screwed her eyes shut, bracing herself for the moment when she would hit the ground, but the impact never came.

Cautiously opening one eye, she saw the Gryffindor boy looking at her. "What was that about the tree not letting you fall?" He chuckled, shifting her from his arms, and setting her on her feet. "Well, the tree lied…" she shrugged, seemingly unfazed, and brushed some bark from her tights. "Thank you for catching me, Neville!" With that, she rose up onto her tiptoes, and placed a swift kiss on his cheek, before skipping back towards the picnic blanket to finish her daisy chain, leaving a bright red Neville frozen to the spot.
