A/N: So, I'm big Komissar Rex fan and Morini and Katia fan, I felt kinda sad because they didn't end up together after all, I think they would make much, much better couple than Fabbri/Katia, so I decided to write this short fanfiction with that subject, from Morini's POV.
Why not me?
He has only one wish: to be with her. Is that so hard, so impossible, so "out-of-his-league" that it can't be fulfilled?
He expected her to notice this so far, being smart and bright as she is, but no, she didn't. She still wants Fabbri. Of course, they aren't actually dating, at least not yet, but it is pretty obvious to everyone, including to him.
Fabbri. Is he better than him? Fabbri can have every woman he wants. He, Morini, wants only one woman, Katia, and still, he can't have her.
Sometimes he feels that Rex is the only creauture who understands him. Although he's a dog, it's pretty obvious that he is against Fabbri and Katia having relationship. Maybe he's just jealous and wants all Fabbri's affection for himself? Or maybe he, Rex, feels what he, Morini, feels towards Katia and wants to help him, to make him happy? Or maybe it's the both?
He knows that it sounds crazy and is crazy, but everything ispossible, right? So, maybe, it is also possible that she will realize what is he feeling towards her after all.
And maybe, just maybe, she will start feeling the same.
I love you, Katia, he silently whispered while looking at her through glass laboratory door.
