The sky was a magnificent dark blue color that almost appeared purple. Small white stars could be seen.
Down below were endless fields of soft, spiky green blades of grass. There were also delicate, beautiful flowers decorating the ground.
In the fields were two figures; one laying down and one sitting while pointing out the constellations.
"That's the Little Dipper- see it? Oh, and there's Antlia!" A girl with golden hair exclaimed, brown eyes shining with excitment.
Beside her was her best friend and partner. "Where'd you learn 'em?" A boy with spiky pinky hair asked, his gaze scanning the night sky above him.
"Learn what?" The blonde turned her head to look at the boy. "Constellations," Came his short response.
"Oh," The girl nodded then smiled. She looked back up at the stars. "When I was little, my mom used to tell me where they where and what they were at night. She would being me outside and point them out," She answered, fond of the memory.
The pink-haired boy nodded in understanding. "She sounds cool." He said.
"She was," The girl hummed in agreement. "She was amazing in every way! The kindest soul I had ever met,"
The male smiled and reached for his friend's hand. He felt her palm against his and intertwined their fingers together.
"I like to think that she's still here because of my connection with the stars or something," The blonde mumbled shyly, her gaze falling to the ground. "Is that weird, Natsu?"
Said boy sat up and looked at her, eyes soft. "Not at all!" He smiled reassuringly. "I like to think that too, but instead with my fire and Igneel. Even though he's gone, I feel like he's still with me." He said, looking back up at the sky.
"Hey Lucy, look!" Natsu exclaimed, pointing at the flowers around them. The plain, colored petals that appeared dull were suddenly glowing.
It reflected upon the grass; making the ground look purple and pink instead of green.
"Woah," Lucy breathed, standing up also. She looked at the fields further away and saw the petals one by one starting to glow.
"They look like stars, almost." The blonde said, looking back at her friend who was now running down the hill like a child.
"C'mon, Luce!" Natsu exclaimed, grinning from ear to ear. "Let's go!"
"Go where?!" She asked, loud enough for him to hear. Lucy chased after him, making sure to not trip over her own feet.
"I don't know," He shrugged, looking at the ground where the glowing flowers seemed to give him a path.
"Let's go somewhere!" Natsu smiled at his best friend, offering her his hand once she caught up to him.
Lucy laughed as they ran. "Alright!"
