She tosses and turns, trying to get to sleep. It's impossible. She can never get to sleep, not without him. She hates when he's off touring with his band, but she hides it well.
Bella sighs and gives up on sleeping. She swings her legs over the bed and picks up the phone, dialing the familiar number.
One ring, two, three, and then, "Bella?"
She lets out a sigh of relief and smiles. "Hi."
"What's up. Is something wrong?"
"No. Nothing's wrong. I just... can't sleep."
He chuckles softly. "Which song?"
"Doesn't matter. Anything."
He's silent for a minute before saying, "Ok. I got one."
Bella lies back down in bed with the covers pulled up to her neck.
He waits for a second before singing softly:
I wrecked your hotel room
I crashed up the car
Slept in the gutter

Down on your knees
There's really no reason to call the police
Bella smiles, happy just to hear his voice. What she doesn't know is that he's currently in his car, driving to her apartment building.
He pushes the car past twice the legal speed limit, wanting to be with his girlfriend as soon as possible. He thinks about her as he sings the chorus:

He parks in front of the building by the next verse, never skipping a beat. She still doesn't suspect anything. He's in front of her door by the end of the verse.
He opens the door quietly.

So don't get upset
I've got all these problems
None with solutions
Been in and out of some nice institutions
Bella closes her eyes and imagines that he's that. She can almost hear him in the empty apartment.
She shakes her head and tells herself she's imagining things.

She mouths the words as his voice seems to be getting closer. Suddenly, he stops singing.
"Why'd you stop?" She whines.
"Turn around."
She turns around, and there he is, a smile on his face and arms open.
Bella gasps and throws the covers back, tripping over her own two feet in her haste to get to him.
He catches her before she falls, as usual, and holds her close. "I missed you Bells."
"I missed you too," she replies, face buried in his faded Ramones shirt.
A yawn escapes her mouth, causing him to ask, "Have you slept at all since I left?"
She shrugs. "Can't sleep without you."
He picks her up and tucks her into bed before crawling in next to her and wrapping his arms around her. He kisses her forehead. "Go to sleep, love."
She yawns again and rests her head on his chest, smiling in contentment. But before she lets herself drift off to sleep, she presses her lips to his and tells him, "I love you Jasper."
He smiles and kisses her back. "I love you too, Bells. Now go to sleep."
She once again yawns and then lets herself drift off to sleep, happy that Jasper was back with her, knowing that he wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.
