If you yourself have a love life, you'd know many types of girls. The smart, brainy ones, the material girls, oh and don't forget about the blondes.
Obviously the blondes never had the brains to realize they dumb and acted the same they always did.
There are many blondes that have been considered ditzs, but today we'll talk about a certain ditz of a blonde that goes by the name of Lindsay.
She had the looks of being perfect. Blue eyes that shone like the ocean blue, long blonde hair that could make any man smart enough to drool, and a man's lady attitude could make this 16 year old seem perfect.
Unfortunetly, life had it's way with her mind, and made her as sharp as a cupcake. It didn't seem like her fault, seeing as she had every tutor available sent to her. It just seemed that Lindsay didn't have that instinct that made someone that smart cookie. In fact, Lindsay herself knew she was beatiful and loved boys, but as soon as the unfamiliarity with people started, and the name confusion set it, it was hard for the smart, more cynical boys to stay with her. Obviously Lindsay didn't realize this because she considered anyone who offered friendship a friend, which lead to her departure on Total Drama Island.
Fortunetly, the clumsy and jock-like teenager Tyler found Lindsay fine, even with her constantly forgetting his name. This seemed to be a perfect connection, seeing as Lindsay never had anyone who ignored her stupidity, but who's to say this was stupidity?
Lindsay had her moments, and when these occured they seemed to be out of the blue and at the right time. It seemed her mind literally had a mind of it's own, no pun intended.
So it's possible she's not a typical dumb blonde, but just slow-witted, but still a substancial amount of knowledge to get her through life.
Added to this, Lindsay is one of those girls who care more about looks, a material girl if you will. You can't blame her, seeing as girls are being more judged on visuals than brains, so this could just be a sacrifice to make boys more attracted to her, which made it's affects onto Tyler as quickly as 1+1 is added.
Another cause could be Lindsay has fallen victim to the same fate as our good friend Ed from Ed, Edd, n Eddy. Ed acts stupid so it makes Eddy look smarter, when really Ed seems to look smarter in the right situation. The reason he acts dumb outside school is most likely because he has nobody to talk about his interests. Well, both of this apply to Lindsay. When she hung around Heather, she probably played dumb just so it could make Heather look smarter, and you can make a quick connection between these people I've mentioned. And like I said about Ed and his interests, nobody that was on the island cared about good looks except for our dear Lindsay, who made it very clear she wanted to keep good complection. So, maybe this isn't her stupidity, but rather lack of people talking to her.
So, we may continue to call her dumb, but remember this story, and we may just find some heart to see, that this blonde we call Lindsay may not be the ditz we all know.....
