Something was bothering her and she wasn't sure what the problem was. None of the usual things applied. She had money and had just yesterday jumped off a nice tall building. Breakfast this morning had been a deliciously sugary bowl of cereal they had just broken into a government facility.

It had to be something else.

She wanted to talk to Sophie but she was no longer in the building with them.

It all started with Hardison's complaining about having to use her gear again. It wasn't anything new. Hardison hated heights. It certainly wasn't the first time he had balked at the idea and it certainly wasn't the first time Eliot had threatened him. But there was something else.

She couldn't seem to shake her discomfort though and when they were wandering around the halls of all the forgotten inventions she had an epiphany.

He didn't trust her.

He expected her to trust him but he didn't trust her.

After that big speech in Dubai about how she wasn't alone and he had her back. About how having a team and trusting each other. He stood there and complained about her gear. About whether or not she could keep him safe.

That stung.

She trusted Nate to keep her safe. She trusted Sophie to help her navigate her emotions. She trusted Hardison to look out for her and she trusted Eliot to protect her.

She knew Nate and Sophie trusted her. Sophie had told her her real name and Nate had talked to her about his son. Eliot caught her every time she jumped.

Hardison told her he trusted her. Told her he cared about her but when push came to shove he didn't trust her to keep him safe. It hurt and made her sad. She didn't like it one bit. Didn't he know she was the best?

She wanted to talk to someone about it but Sophie wasn't here and Nate was busy with his father. Eliot wasn't her first choice for advice but she knew he would be honest and she needed to know if she was just being crazy.

"Eliot?" She waited until Nate was out of ear shot to turn on him.

"What's up Parker?" His gruff voice washed over her making her relax. He would be honest.

"Would you trust me to throw you off a building?" He looked at her like this was the most insane question he had ever heard but noticed how serious her face was.

"Yeah Parker. There is no one I would trust more if I had to jump off a building." She looked sad for a moment at his words before leaping into his arms and hugging him tightly.

"I trust you too you know?" She smiled brightly as he put her down and backed up. "To punch the bad guys that get in my way."

Whatever was going on with the crazy thief his words seemed to comfort her and that made him smile. She was part of his crew and because of that he worried about her.

A part of him wondered if there was something else but he was distracted by the police radio. He could think about that later. Right now he needed to concentrate on keeping his team safe.

AN, Just a quick one shot that popped into my head after watching the Radio Job. I might continue it after watching next weeks Ep. Can't wait!
