When Honda finally had returned from Duelist Kingdom, he couldn't forget Pegasus.
Well, he was kind of hard to forget. He did tend to nearly kill Yugi and trap people's souls in cards, but that wasn't what Honda remembered him for.
Honda remembered him for his love of Cyndia. He wanted to know if anyone would ever love him as much as Pegasus loved her. Strangest of all, he wanted to know if Pegasus would ever love him as much as he loved her, which was kind of a stupid thought considering Pegasus had tried to destroy one of his best friends and was now back in America in some hospital.
He couldn't help wondering though. Pegasus had been prepared to do anything to get her back, and he respected that. Honda knew that if he had been in Pegasus' place, he would have done the same thing. That didn't stop him from envying Cyndia and Pegasus' love, though.
To ask that sort of love, though, was too much. It was too much to ask anyone for that sort of love.
