A/N: I had another Lee/Dee story roaming around in my head so I thought I might try another one. So here is Chapter 1. Let me know if I should continue it. Happy Reading.!!!'
Oh yeah.. I forgot. I don't own Battlestar Galactica or any of it's characters..yada..yaga..yada.. you know the rest.
"I...love... you...Dee." Lee said while he was gasping for air. He was using what little oxygen he had left in his viper to tell his wife how much he loved her.
"Apollo don't waist your air. We are coming for you. Please just hold on." Dee said trying to remain professional and not break down at the sound of her husband possibly dying in space.
"No...time..air....run..out." Lee coughed out.
"Starbuck is in a Raptor right now bringing air to you. I need you to stop talking Apollo. Please stop waisting your air." Dee said firmly.
"Getting...sleepy..." Lee was trying to keep his eyes open but his body was starting to feel very tired and cold.
"No! Stay awake Lee. Don't go to sleep." Dee sobbed out . She couldn't hold her composure any longer.
"Say..it." Lee said slowly.
"No." Dee didn't want to say the words because she knew it would be the last time he heard them.
"We..both..know...it's ...to..late. Please...let...me...hear... you..say..it. Please..Dee." Lee said.
"I love you. I love you Lee Adama." Dee said through tears.
"Love.. you..too. Carry..carry.." Lee tried to finish his sentence but it was hard to focus while his mind and body were shutting down. He let his body go limp and surrendered to the comforting dark. Letting the last words of Dee carry him to the gods.
"I will always carry you in my heart." Dee said.
Dee looked up at the Dradis screen and saw that Starbuck's Raptor was pulling alongside Lee's ship. He would be saved. He was coming home.
"Galactica to Apollo, Starbuck is at your port side. Do you read me?" Dee said.
No answer.
"Galactica to Apollo. Galactica to Apollo please come in. Lee please answer me." Dee said.
Still no answer.
"Starbuck to Galactica....Dee... Admiral...gods..I'm sorry. He's gone." Starbuck said.
Dee felt her whole world crash down around her. Her mind and her heart broke into a million pieces all at once. Suddenly her legs could no longer work and she fell to the floor with a thud. Tears poured out of her eyes and screams of pain left her throat.
"Noooo! Noooo! Leeee! Leeee! He can't be gone. He's not supposed to leave me. He's not supposed to leave me!" Dee cried.
Dee suddenly felt strong hands pick her up from the floor. When she looked up she could see the Admiral looking at her and calling her name but it wasn't his voice. He was calling her using Lee's voice.
"Dee, get up! Dee, get up!" Adama said in Lee's voice.
Dee's eyes grew wide with fear. Was she going crazy? Why was she hearing Lee's voice? She needed to get away. Dee tried to run but couldn't. The Admiral was still holding on to her. She closed her eyes and told the voice to go away.
"Go away! Go away!" she yelled but she still heard the voice call her name.
"Open your eyes Dee. Open your eyes. I'm here." Lee's voice said gently.
Dee did as she was told and opened her eyes slowly to see Lee sitting up next to her holding her.
She reached out and touched Lee's face to make sure that he was real. Once her fingers made contact with his face and she knew he was real she grabbed Lee and held on to him for dear life.
Lee didn't know what was going on with Dee but he could tell that whatever her dream was, it was bad. He could feel her body start to shake and become racked by her sobs. Lee just held Dee and rocked with her back and forth rubbing her back and telling her he was here and not going anywhere. He didn't ask her what was wrong or what the dream was about, he wanted to give Dee some to pull herself together.
After several minutes Lee could feel Dee's body start to calm down. She still had a death grip on him but he didn't mind. If she needed him that close for some type of reassurance that he was there then he wasn't moving. Lee decided that since he was a captive audience that he would try and see if Dee would tell him what was going on.
"You know that I love when you hold me but honey... I can't breathe." Lee joked.
Dee looked up at Lee who smiled down at her.
"Gods Lee, I'm sorry." Dee said loosening up on her vice grip.
She was about to sit up and move away from him when Lee stopped her.
"You don't have to move, I like holding you like this." Lee said.
Lee felt Dee readjust herself in his arms. Once she had a comfortable spot and seemed more relaxed he then started to ask questions about her dream.
"Dee,what's got you so upset?" Lee asked.
"It was just a dream Lee." Dee said quietly.
"I don't think it was just a dream Dee. It sounded worse like a nightmare." Lee said.
"It was. The worst kind." Dee said.
"Tell me what happened." Lee said.
"No." Dee said shaking her head.
"Dee it'll help if you talk it out." Lee said.
"I don't want to!" Dee yelled.
Dee suddenly let go of Lee and got up off their bed. She started pacing the room like a wild animal that needed to get free of her cage. Feeling like the room was getting smaller Dee walked over to her locker and pulled out her sweats and put them over her tank top and shorts.
Lee got up out of bed and walked over to Dee to try and get her to stop getting dressed but she refused to listen and kept saying she needed to get out of there.
"Dee wait. Stop!" Lee yelled.
When Lee raised his voice Dee immediately stopped getting dressed and looked at him. She could see by the look on his face that she was scaring him.
"Lee, I just need a few centons to be alone. I'll be back." Dee said.
Before Lee could say anything Dee was already heading out the hatch door. Lee called out to try and stop her and make her come back but it was too late. By the time he reached the hatch door she was gone. Lee looked down on the floor and saw that Dee didn't even put her shoes on when she left so she wouldn't be going to far. Lee hurried back to his locker and threw his sweatpants and sneakers on then headed out the hatch to go and try to find Dee.

Twenty centons had passed and Lee still hadn't found Dee and he was really getting worried. He searched corridor after corridor and there was no sign of her. It was like she disappeared. Lee was trying to rack his brain to think where Dee would go but nothing came to mind. He tried CIC,the mess hall, the gym,Joes Bar,and memory lane where all the pictures of everyone who had died were, and came up empty. Lee decided to head back to their quarters to see if Dee had possible returned.
While walking back he bumped into Karl and Sharon carrying a sleeping baby Hera.
"What are you three doing?" Lee asked.
"Walking. We just got Hera to sleep. You ok? You look like you lost your best friend." Karl asked.
"Hey guys, have you seen Dee?" Lee asked.
"No." Sharon said.
"No, me neither. Is everything ok?" Karl asked.
"No. Dee had some kind of bad dream and then left our room and now I have no idea where she could be. I really need to find her." Lee said.
"Where did you look?" Sharon asked adjusting Hera in her arms.
"All the usual places." Lee said.
"Then maybe you should look in all the unusual places." Karl said.
"Like where?" Lee asked.
"Try the hanger. There are plenty of places that someone could go to be alone down there." Sharon said.
Lee looked a little skeptical about Sharon's idea but it was better than what he had which was nothing but waiting. Something Lee was not good at doing.
"I'll go check it out. Thanks you two." Lee said.
"It's a start at least." Sharon said.
"Good Luck and if you still can't find her come and get me and I will help you search." Karl said.
"Thanks Karl and I will. See you three later." Lee said then started to head towards the hanger.

Lee walked into the hanger where the night shift was working. He could hear people but didn't see anyone right away. Then he remembered the hour and knew that this was just the skeleton night shift working and that's why there wasn't so much hustle and bustle like during the earlier shifts with people walking around everywhere. He started to walk around hoping that he would find someone that could possible let him know if they saw Dee.
"Major!"
Lee heard someone calling him and turned to see that it was Chief Tyrol. He walked over to the Chief who was on the call box with someone.
"You can disregard I got him. Thanks." Tyrol said then hung up.
"Don't you ever go to bed Chief?" Lee asked. It seemed like the Chief worked every shift. He had no idea where the man got the energy from.
"Who has time to sleep? Besides, these Raptors and Vipers aren't going to repair themselves. I would never be able to sleep knowing the repairs weren't done so if I want to sleep I gotta get the work done."Tyrol said.
"Right. Were you looking for me Chief?" Lee asked.
"As a matter of I was. Follow me." Tyrol said.
Lee followed the Chief but hoped this wasn't going to take to long because he need to go look for Dee.
He walked with the Chief over to where most of the Vipers were kept during repairs. They stopped right in front of Lee's Viper.
"Chief what are we doing here?" Lee asked.
"You need to look in the cockpit sir." Tyrol said.
Lee rolled his eyes. He didn't have time for these games. He need to go and find Dee, not waist time looking in his cockpit.
"Chief is it something I need to see now? I need to go and find Dee." Lee said.
"Yes Major, it's something you need to see." Tyrol said with smile.
Lee didn't want to argue with the Chief so he climbed the ladder to look in his cockpit. When he reached the last step he heard a small whimper coming from inside. He looked over the side and saw Dee's small body sleeping in the seat with a blanket over her.
"I found her there not too long ago. I put one of the spare blankets I have down here on her. I was getting ready to have one the marines go get you but then you showed up. Is she alright sir?" Tyrol asked concerned for his friend.
"I don't know Chief. I'm to get her home. Can you help me take her out?" Lee asked.
"Sure." Tyrol said.
The Chief climbed up the other side of the Viper and reached in. He gentle moved Dee over into the waiting arms of Lee. Once the Chief saw that Dee was secure in Lee's arms he quickly climbed down and moved over to where Lee was coming down. He held the ladder steady for Lee as he climbed down with a still sleeping Dee.
When Lee was safely down he felt Dee stir a little in his arms. He kissed her forehead and whispered to her that he was her near.
"Thanks Chief. Can we keep this between us?" Lee asked.
"Keep what between us Major?" Tyrol said with a knowing smile.
"Right. I better get her home. Thanks again Chief." Lee said.
Lee was thankful that the corridors he walked through with Dee were empty. He really didn't feel like answer any questions as to why he was carrying his sleeping wife around in his arms.
Lee was glad that the hatch to his quarters was still open. He walked in and closed the hatch with his foot. He then walked over to their bed and softly placed Dee on it. Lee took the blanket the Chief gave Dee off and put their own blanket on her. He sat down in a chair across from the bed and watched Dee. Her whimpers had stopped and she looked like she might be getting some dreamless sleep.
After a few minutes of waiting and seeing nothing happen, Lee got up from his chair and walked over to the hatch to lock it. Just as he heard the lock click he heard Dee start to scream him name.
"Lee! No Lee! Please don't go!" Dee screamed.
Lee raced over to the bed and immediately started trying to wake Dee. He called her name and gentle shook Dee when call her name didn't work. Slowly her eyes opened and Dee looked around to see where she was. It took her a moment to realize that she wasn't in Lee's Viper anymore. She was at home in her quarters with a very worried Lee looking at her.
Just as before she reached out and touched his face to make sure he was alive and real. When her fingers touched his warm skin Lee grabbed her hand that was still resting on his face. He could see that her body was shaking and that tears were about to fall from her face. That was it. Lee wanted to know what was wrong and he wanted to know now.
"Dee, what is going on? What are you dreaming about that could make you so upset that it has you shaking?" Lee asked.
Dee was about to say nothing when Lee stopped her.
"No, don't say it's nothing. Please tell me. You're scaring me." Lee said.
Dee looked in her husbands eyes then grabbed on to him for strength. She held on to him as tight as she could then told him what was in her dreams.
"You...you die Lee. You die and there was nothing I could do to save you." Dee said.
Lee sat there holding his wife as she cried into his chest making his shirt wet from her tears. He quietly told her that everything would be ok and that he was not going anywhere. Lee brought Dee's face away from his chest and touched his lips to hers. He wanted to let her know that right here, right now, that he was here with her.
"I'm here Dee. I'm here." Lee said softly.
"It was so real Lee." Dee sobbed.
"I know it was Dee. But it was a dream and dreams can't hurt us." Lee turned his body so that Dee could see his face and hear him clearly. He again took Dee's tiny face into his large hands and made her look him straight in the eye.
"Listen to me Dee because I'm only going to say this once. I. Am. Not. Going. Anywhere. Nothing is going to take me away from you. I waisted to much time and almost lost you, so if you think that I'm going to let dying get in the way of staying with you, you are mistaken. I love you Dee. Always have, and always will." Lee said.
Dee melted back into her husband embrace and felt his lips kiss her head.
"No matter where I go, no matter what I do Dee, I will always carry you in my heart." Lee said.
When Dee heard those words uttered from Lee's lips she knew what she had wasn't a dream, it was a premonition of things to come and she knew she had to find away to stop it from happening.
