I hate the pairing itself , but what more fun than to use Daisy as a small puppet?

She padded up slowly to the shallow waters , the moonlight glistening on her fur .
Sitting down , she slowly washed herself , thinking of her one and only love . Cloudtail.
Yes , Smoky was her mate , father to her kits Berrynose , Mousewhisker and Hazeltail .
But did she love him?
It was a question . The most difficult question she'd ever need to make .
...Maybe not.
She had loved Smoky before she joined the Clans . But now she loved Cloudtail .
The big problem was , Cloudtail apparently loved Brightheart.
Brightheart.
The very name that pierced her soul , that broke her heart into pieces , that tore her hopes into plain dreams.
She knew that Cloudtail and Brightheart loved each other, and for StarClan's sake , they had a kit , Whitewing!
As she turned her back to the rippling waves of the lake , a single tear wetted her cheek.
I long so much to be with him right now.
Brushing the tear away with her paw , she padded slowly back to her confinement of the nursery , safe and away
from the sadness she felt outside .
With , or without him.

As I re-read this , I think that it's 'oh-so-irrevelant' , 'holy-shiethole-go-and-crawl-in-a-hole-and-die-writing' and whatever lets you sleep at night .
Yes . I swear I'm not going to write any more romance oneshots . Eeew.
