A.N. I do favor Percabeth but things are going to get fiery in the 5th book.
All the way to his favorite place, Camp Half-Blood Percy thought of that kiss. What you're probably thinking is Annabeth right? Wrong!!!!!!!! This was wait for it…Rachel Elizabeth Dare, dun dun duuuuun!!!!!! True it wasn't his fault, but still what would Annabeth think. He would have to tell her right? No he couldn't, Annabeth would never understand.
This may be the hardest thing Percy will have to do (and I'm including the prophecy) choosing between Rachel or Annabeth. Annabeth was the perfect choice right? But what happened with Rachel made him not so sure.
Just then I landed, on Blackjack in the fields of Camp Half-Blood and Chiron greeted me, this would have to wait.
"Chiron,"
"Percy it's great to have you back, we need help in the stables think you can do that"
"Sure" he walked Blackjack to the stables. I was glad I was alone again, the only thing distracting was Blackjack talking like there's no tomorrow.
A lot of time must have went by, because I just realized it was dark when Chiron walk in "Percy," He sounded worried, "Are you ok?"
"I'm fine," I said, a little too fast, "I'm fine".
"Annabeth wants to see you", I tensed up.
"I tired tell her I'll see her tomorrow", It would be to confusing to see her.
"You know as well as I do see won't take that", He was right. After a moment of thought, I ran, until Annabeth stopped me.
"Percy?" like she couldn't believe it. Then she hugged me. She was suspisous, "Percy."
"Hi, can we talk tomorrow" I started walking again.
She grabbed my arm "No, what's wrong?'
"Nothing I'm just tired" I couldn't take it anymore I spirited to the Poseidon cabin and slammed the door leaving her standing in the middle of the field, crying.
The next morning breakfast was awkward and it was even more when she pulled over KISSED me and made me tell (I think she sharpened her knife for me).
"RACHEL, why?"
"She kissed me, Annabeth please", her anger dimmed. She started pulling me.
"We are sneaking out so shut your mouth".
