Hi guys! This was based on "Tears of an Angel" by RyanDan (If you don't know it go youtube it!) Hope you enjoy!

It was light outside but it was the darkest day of my life. I was frozen in place as my little girl collapsed on the ground, blood gushing out of the bullet wound. The masked man was also motionless, still registering what he had just done. A scream shook him from his daze and he bolted for the door and ran across the street. All I could do, however, was kneel next to her, weeping.

"It's okay daddy." I looked into her eyes with shock. "Don't cry. I'm going to heaven aren't I?"

I was trying to stop the blood flow but there was so much, staining her white dress red. I shook my head, "No baby, you're not going to heaven. You're not going anywhere because you're going to be fine. Don't give up on me baby."

She placed her hand on top of mine. "I love you daddy." She rested her head back and closed her eyes.

"No no no. Come on baby, don't give up. Come on, open your eyes. Don't let go, keep fighting. Come on baby. Please." I collapsed onto her body, gut wrenching sobs torn from my mouth. I lost all sense of time but soon felt someone try to pry me off my daughter.

"Sir, please let go. Sir you have let go of her now."

Somehow I managed to stand, leaning on the man next to me. Looking to the heavens, I spoke. "I love you baby girl."

I watched as the scene below played out, not believing my eyes. My heart, or where my heart once was, was constricting in an almost painful way. I felt something wet slide down my cheek.

"What upsets you brother?" I turn towards Gabriel, but avoid looking in his eyes.

"How can they do such a thing? They are brothers and sisters yet they slaughter themselves. Even children are not spared." I turn back towards the scene below. "They spend their lives trying to make their own lives better but do not care about any others. They fear the monster under their bed when they really should fear themselves. There is no greater monster than humanity."

"We cannot judge the entirety of humanity because of the misdeeds of a few. They did not condemn us when Lucifer fell." I closed my eyes in remembrance of our lost brother. "Besides, these monsters of which you speak will be given the justice they deserve. Smile brother, there can be no darkness with no light."

He disappeared but I was not left alone.

"Hello? Who are you?"

I turned towards the little girl in a white dress.

"My name is Castiel."

"You're an angel. I'm in heaven aren't I?"

"Yes."

"Is that me down there?" She was looking down at sad scene below: her father being supported by a man in a uniform, people crying and shaking, and of course her body lying on the ground, swimming in a pool of blood.

She looked up at me. "I'm never going to see daddy again, am I?"

I shook my head. "No you will see him again, when it is his time. But he is not needed yet." I held out my hand. "Come."

She took my hand and we walked off, the angel and the girl in white.
