Hey guys, it's me, dark eyed angel. It took me a while to finally get my thoughts down, even though some of you know how much I love to write. Well anyway, I just wanted you guys to read this…maybe it will help ease the pain, maybe it won't.

It's a part script, part poem. The italicized parts are lines, the plain are the poetry part. It's a pattern.

Love,

Dark eyed angel

They say we're  supposed to let go,

Of what?

Our pain.

How can we? It's not that easy!

Of course it's not easy. But we're supposed to.

…They say life is a journey, they say life isn't always fair.

It's an unfair journey. An odyssey across space and time.

Or time and space.

What's the difference?

What's life? What's death…what's peace…love…happiness, these are all rare.

Yes, they're uncommon as it is, and often have no reason or rhyme.

It's rhyme or reason.

We're not working saying the phrases properly.

But…aren't we supposed to?

What are we 'supposed' to do?

To live life to the fullest, to make it worth while.

But some people's lives get cut off short—they can't live them all the way!

That's the way Fate has it.

Fate is too cruel, too harsh.

That's the way it is. We have to accept it.

No we don't! We can't…we can change Fate!

Maybe we were destined to change Fate.

But…but that would mean that Fate would have wanted us to change it…

Exactly. Fate changes with every action…touch, breath, smile…

So…you mean that our Fate changes day by day?

Perhaps.

What do you mean, 'perhaps' ?! That was a yes or a no question.

Life can't be answered with a yes or a no.

Where does life come from?!

Life and Fate walk hand in hand. With out one, there isn't another.

Where does Destiny fit in?

With Fate.

This is confusing.

Yes, it is, but we have a story to tell.

So, 'sing in me muse,' but will that help? The story is long…and painful.

We've already begun to tell it.

See, they're already listening. They're reading. They can hear us.

But we haven't spoken…     or have we?

We have.

So…we're uncertain. What can we do to help tell them?

We have to stop this pain, we have to tell eachother.

Life is a game, if we help eachother, will we win?

Maybe. Maybe not.

It was yes or no.

Again with that—let me explain. It's like a contrast, like black and white.

Right, a contrast. They're extremes.

Exactly. Now, Life is not black and white.

Then what is it?

It's an array of grays, whites and blacks. Millions of tints and shades.

The middle is gray. The equilibrium?

In a way. There is vagueness, uncertainty…you're forced to make choices, and the outcome, the consequences aren't always clear cut…they aren't always extreme black and white. They can be gray.

They can be bittersweet.

Right, you're understanding it.

Can they be contradictory?

Of course.

So the consequences can be cursed blessings?

Possibly.

Do you think they are understanding where all of this is leading?

Maybe.

Do you think they get our point that we're trying to make?

I hope so.

So do I.
