Gohan sighed happily, as if heaven had suddenly fallen onto Earth. A beautiful blond girl sat two rows below him. It was like one of those bad soap operas with the perfect cheerleader and the geek who was head over heels in love with her. Yet, Gohan was positive that she didn't even know his name, but that was probably for the best. Gohan's life wasn't exactly normal, him being a super sayian and all.

"Gohan!" Stern clouded gray eyes stared fiercely behind him from iron-rimmed glasses. "Instead of studying Miss. Harrison's anatomy could you please pick up the reading where I left off," Gohan blushed as his angel looked back at him, but she didn't look angry. In fact she looked half embarrassed and half flattered. Well, at least she knew his name now. Gohan looked down at his book, he began to sweat, and the words seemed to smudge and bunch together, he couldn't make anything out. The teacher sighed angrily, but continued reading. Gohan slouched back in his chair, not daring to look at his angel the rest of class. The moment the bell rang he ran for it, not bothering to hold the door open for her as he usually did. This was his worst nightmare; his angel might have found out that he liked her.

Gohan sat at the dinner table sadly. The moment he got home he shut himself in his room, making the excuse that he had a big test tomorrow. When in truth he was lying on his bed, mentally beating himself up. Aaron Harrison was everything that every girl wanted to be. She was unbelievably smart, incredibly beautiful, and was head cheerleader and still found time to keep a part time job at an animal shelter. You'd think that with a resume like that a lot of people would be jealous and spiteful, but they weren't. She was the sweetest girl in the world, never saying a mean word about anyone. She was just plain perfect... Finally his mother, Chi-Chi had pulled him out of his room for dinner. Family friends Bulma, Vegeta and Trunks were here for dinner. Chi-Chi could easily tell something was wrong with her son. She pressed her palm to his forehead, making Gohan snap out of his thoughts.

"Are you coming down with a cold, sweetie?"

"I'm fine, mom," he pushed her hand away gently.

"School okay?"

"My grades are fine, mom."

"Girl trouble. Must be girl trouble," Bulma smiled knowingly at the dark haired warrior. "What's going on?"

"Well, there is this girl I really like. But she doesn't know I exist. And I don't really know how to get her attention."

"Just go for it," Vegeta spoke suddenly, making Gohan jump. "You're the son of Kakarott you're no pansy!" Gohan looked down; maybe he was just being silly. He saved the world countless times, fighting some of the universes most terrifying monsters, and he was scared of a girl?
