You And The Drama

Chapter One

It has been a restless night, with Sinead O Connor tossing and turning and this time it wasn't because her daughter was crying because she wanted her night-feeding or some comfort from her mother. It was down to Trevor Royle, he has scared her to death. With all his threats and vicious attacks on her and Freddie Roscoe.

"Sinead" Freddie spoke, as he moved closer up to her.

He has stayed the night, been looking after her. As he placed one arm around her, she breathed as she moved closer into his open arms.

"I'm fine" Sinead insisted, looking across her bedroom.

Her eyes were scanning the room, almost as if she expected Trevor to come out from the darkness. She shivered as the coldness hit her skin, though maybe it was more of the thought of Trevor returning.

"You look it" Freddie breathed, kissing her forehead.

As he kept tight hold of her, she did look terrified. Though Freddie had a good ideal why, Trevor can scare many people with his track record of murders and assaults and everything else in between.

"You don't think he will come back?" Sinead asked him, he sighed. He couldn't promise anything as he shrugged.

"I won't let him hurt you" Freddie finally said, that much was true.

He would protect her if he returned, well he would try at least. He cares a lot for Sinead though he hasn't fallen for her quite yet. He just needs someone to take his mind of things and vice versa with Sinead.

"Thank you, it means a lot" Sinead replied,as she snuggled in with him closer. He let her, it felt nice.

As she closed her light coloured blue eyes, drifting over into another place. Dreaming is her only escape from everything. Freddie on the other hand was finding the task of falling asleep difficult.

Though he wouldn't want to wake Sinead, as he just slowly slumped down. Trying to find sleep, still with his arms wrapped around a now sleeping Sinead. He did eventually fall asleep around twenty long minutes later.

The next morning was another cold one, as Freddie opened his eyes to find Sinead gone. She was only in the kitchen, Katy woke her by crying. She wanted some bottle milk, it was a mystery why Freddie didn't wake up though he was a deep sleeper.

"Sinead" Freddie called, as he got up from the bed.

He still had his underwear and shirt on, as he opened the door to find Sinead feeding Katy in the kitchen.

"She didn't wake you?" Sinead asked him, biting her top lip.

"No" Freddie replied, still half asleep.

He gave a small smile, as he walked back into the bedroom to get changed. Sinead was still in her pajamas and pink dressing down. As she walked up to the couch, gently placing Katy in her pram and slumping down on the couch.

"Alright then?" Freddie asked, now fully dressed as he looked over at her with another half-hearted smile.

"Yeah, I'm still a bit knackered though" Sinead admitted, as Freddie walked over towards and sat next to her.

"You look fine" Freddie tried to reassure her that she doesn't look knackered. Despite all her sleepless nights.

"What am I going to do Freddie? I can't deal with Trevor right now" Sinead looked so frustrated at the thought of him watching their every move.

Freddie gave her a quick peck on her lips.

"Everything is going to be okay" Freddie breathed, as he placed his hand over hers. She smiled.

"Thank you, well I'm going to get dressed, if Katy starts crying just feed her, her bottle" Sinead informed him.

He nodded though he was hoping that Katy wouldn't make a sound. He isn't really good with children. She must have took around ten minutes until she got dressed and ready. As they looked at each for a moment or two, with another smile on both their faces.
