Ok, second fanfic, I will try to make this better than my first fanfic (which i am still working on). So nevertheless, enjoy... after the disclaimer.

me: Leo! you were supposed to say that on chapter 2! Wait, let me guess, Festus ate you script.

Leo: yes the dragon ate my homework.

Ugh, on with the story...

Piper's POV

I woke up at the sound of screeching gaurd harpies.

"What is it this time?" I muttered under my breath. I peeked out the window to see Thalia Grace being chased by the of the leader of the harpies, Jennie. Thalia and the hunters were staying at camp once again.

"I have been sent by Artemis to go on a quest!" Thalia shouted at Jennie."I had a dream!"

"A mere nightmare, child," Jennie screeched.

"But, Artemis told me.." Thalia started. Whatever she was going to say, she decided against it."Nevermind, but it's really important."

"Has the lady Artemis been trapped once more?" Jennie asked.

"Well, no.."

"Then what could be more important, child?!"

Thalia scowled."Call me "child" one more time, Benny!"

"It's Jennie!" Jennie screeched."Big difference!"

I noticed the Hephaustus cabin's door open to reveal Leo Valdez. Then I saw the Apollo cabin's door open to reveal Will Solace. I also saw Annabeth Chase peeking through the window of cabin three.. Percy's cabin.

Jennie must've noticed us too because she started to freak out."YOU ALL SHOULD BE IN BED!"

Chiron stepped into the scene with some unfortunate hair curlers in his tail."You may be excused, Jennie." he turned to Thalia."I will deal with this myself."

Jennie huffed in disaproval, but obeyed.

I watched as Chiron and Thalia discussed for a while. They kept their voices low so I couldn't hear what they were saying. Finally, Chiron nodded and Thalia went back to the Artemis cabin.

We were at another meeting in the big house to discuss something important.

"As you all know, Thalia and I have duscussed this before," Chiron announced for the umpteenth time. Chiron gestured to Thalia."We will send a few campers, six at most."

Percy raised his hand."Wait, send off six campers for what exactly?"

"A quest," Chiron said. I had a bad feeling it was more than just a simple quest.

"A really dangerous quest," Thalia added."To Alaska."

"Oh, goody," Percy muttered.

"Percy can go, he've been there before with Hazel and Frank," I said.

Chiron turned to Percy."Are you willing to volunteer?"

"Yeah, yeah I think so," Percy said.

"I'll go," Thalia said."Besides, I'm the one that received the dream from Artemis."

"so that's two out of six," I said."Anyone else?"

"ME," Clarrisse said, maybe a little too loudly. She cleared her throat."Er, I mean, I'll go."

"Three out of six," Thalia counted.

I glanced at Jason."Maybe Jason can go.." Jason sat up straighter.

"Yeah, i'll go," Jason said."Maybe I'll get to know my older sister better." He glanced at Thalia who seemed pleased.

Chiron glanced at his nonexisting watch."Well, that's it for today, Thalia and I will assign more campers for the quest later." He gestured to Thalia."Thalia, come with me, the rest of you go to lunch."

Well, that's it for chapter one. what do you think if it? It was a bit short though. Oh well, just tell me how to improve..
